I understand your feelings about Sansa lying for Littlefinger, but think of it this way... he owes her now, or at the very least, he is aware that he would have been completely sunk if not for her. Also it proves that his previous statement "We're all liars here, and every one of us is better than you" is no longer accurate. Not anymore, Littlefinger. Watch yourself.

Oberyn's death is STILL really hard to rewatch. I do love seeing Sansa finally starting to play the game, Littlefinger's creepiness aside. I don't think I ever really understood the purpose or metaphor of the "kung kung kung" scene until now.

Up to this point of the series, the three best one season characters in order are: 1. Oberyn 2. Ned 3. Khal Drogo Pedro did not receive an Emmy nomination for guest actor for his performance this season.

I always seen Sansa's play here to have Littlefinger "owe" her... Normally, anyone that puts themselves in that potion is almost surely dead because Littlefinger will never keep someone like that alive, but Sansa understands that she's her mother representative in Littlefinger's life... she thinks that she can use that in some way (the scene when she explained why she lied for him) Tough to see how she can play to Littlefinger's level on that playground though... I like that they changed Sansa’s wardrobe to signal that she’s starting to “play the game” in order to protect herself. SHE LOOKS LIKE CERSEI, as if she’s finally taken onboard the valuable lessons about not trusting people and looking out for herself, but she also knows that Baelish is a terrible snake. This was REALLY impressive from her.

I hope that she can play the game as well as him. Watching her grow as the seasons go on, I still see her as a scared child. I really hope that changes. I'm tired of seeing her as a victim.
