Hey everyone, Joe here. I really dropped the ball today. I finished recording GOT very late last night with every intention of meeting Kevin in the morning. Well I blew that. I slept right through my alarm and I am kicking myself for it. I talked to Kevin and we are recording tomorrow morning. I am so incredibly sorry guys.

We’ve all been there, no problem, you needed the sleep.

Clare Manion

No problem at all - you guys produce a ton of content and sounds like you're busy with work besides. Get some rest 😊

Roland

I think you're overdoing it, there's no space on the calendar for any slack, and some of your previews / reviews at the end of a long have been curtailed because of fatigue, and that kinda defeats the whole objective. I suggest that you don't instantly replace every show, instead start naturally to build yourselves in a bit of slack. And it's great to apologize, we all appreciate the apology and the commitment. But we're all in this for the long haul, we understand that real life is going to get in the way sometimes.

Laura Room

No worries! It's just TV. And OLD TV! It'll still be there tomorrow.

I can't say that I've noticed a drop in commentary quality, but I do second the idea of taking it a bit easier. The last thing you wanna do is burn yourselves out.

Roland

"It's been a long viewing day, so we'll get right to it". Maybe misses the point? (N.B. I'm not saying the commentary / postcap isn't good, just can come across as a bit of a downer).

Sleep is fundamental—no apologies necessary.

Ashley Thomas

sounds like you needed the sleep. take care of yourself first.

I really appreciate all the comments. Thank you and sorry again!

Want to add to Roland's voice here. It's great that you're doing all this but there's always more TV, and we as your audience will never NOT say "oh yeah you should totally do that!!!!!!", or know the details of what you can actually logistically do or how close you are to burning out. I hope you find a sustainable rhythm; if this one is then great, if not then that's how it is.
