Every time this show lets us think Liz's dating life is looking up for a minute, we get a cold splash of reality pretty quickly. Jason Sudeikis? Loves Cleveland more than Liz. Peter Dinklage? Liz is too shallow for him. Steve Martin? Running from the law. Jon Hamm? Too stupid. Michael Sheen? Wrong for each other in every petty way. And now Matt Damon, who seemed like a fairytale romantic interest in his introduction, turns out to be kind of a manchild in his own way.
