I love Catherine in this episode. A lot of it is stuff we've seen from her before, but then she fixes her mom for them *and* we see her be just a tiny bit like her mom when she drops out of the walk first chance she gets.

I had written five stars next to this episode on the DVD box, one of two episodes from this season to have stars next to the title. Can't wait to see it! Don't remember what it is! Just woke up.....what a way to start the day! Thanks, as always!!!! See ya on the other side!

Oh my god, this episode is extra brilliant. Every single cast member is great in this one! First off: THIS is Ben and Kent! Not adversaries, but advisors who are subservient to her! I just think it's funnier! And also they're more multi-dimensional now, especially Ben! When she's having her meltdown saying how she's not owned by them, and Ben is calmly agreeing with her.....I actually got goosebumps. That actor who plays Doyle always kills it, totally agree. I thought Matt Walsh was really strong in this one. Brilliant script. Execution. Catherine. Damn good half hour! PS: All the SNL stuff, so meta! "Nothing less funny than a comedian"! LOL. Her calling Lorne. Everything about that was just another level of brilliance that this episode didn't particularly need at all! Just the cherry on top! LOVING these reactions and will be rewatching all the edits when we get through. (meanwhile, you guys keep posting great movies that I haven't even gotten to yet. damn good channel! :D)
