On rewatch I noticed Joe made a comment about Cary Grant being athletic - you should know that he started out in Vaudeville and did a LOT of physical comedy - Arsenic & Oldlace showcases these skills beautifully - maybe i'll get that one next time if neither of you have seen it!

If you’re interested in checking out more Audrey Hepburn I would suggest Robin and Marian (1976). With Audrey as Maid Marian Sean Connery as Robin Hood and Robert Shaw as the Sheriff among others. Directed by Richard Lester (Hard Days Night, Help).

Stanley Donen the director also directed Signin the Rain. Charade has been called the best Hitchcock movie never made by Hitchcock. Also due to Cary Grant being 59 and having a 25 year age difference with Audrey Hepburn they had dialogue added to have his character comment on his age and have Hepburn character be the pursuer in the relationship.

It never clicked with me that Donen also directed Singing in the Rain. I did notice that the only really intimate kissing in the movie happened in the dark on the river cruise, making the age difference less obvious in during the act. I'm glad they acknowledged it in the script.
