The scrambling for Ebon Moss-Bachrach's name/history makes me think that it's possible you guys haven't watched Andor. So I'm gonna take this opportunity to make a plug: I know it's not in the wheelhouse of this channel, and I dunno where you guys are with Star Wars content, but I'll just say that Andor is as good as any tv show of the last 10 years (right there with The Bear, Succession, and Reservation Dogs). Tony Gilroy somehow made a show the simultaneously crushes as a Star Wars show, a spy show, a show about a work family, and a profound piece of anti-fascist art. One probably should have seen the OG Star Wars trilogy, as well as Rogue One, but you emphatically do not need to have seen any other bit of Star Wars content.

An Oliver Platt double feature today with this and The West Wing! They call him Cicero and he was the one who got the health inspector back. I love Ritchie (he's probably my fave character) and, yes, I agree with your assessment that he's complicated. Also, the soundtrack is packed with absolute bangers. I am so happy you guys are reacting to this show, thank you! Day made.

Oh man! I was so wrapped up in Toby's demise that it never crossed my mind that we were seeing Oliver Platt in back-to-back shows!

I'm certainly not opposed to it. I grew up a fan of the original trilogy. I watched the first 2 seasons of The Mandalorian, and have heard all good things about Andor.

I know music is a problem for Youtubers, but good lord the needle drops on this show are insane.

What a great episode! I love that they're giving Richie more depth. And yes, his performance on the phone in the car was incredible - super subtle and perfect. I really appreciated (and giggled at) the detail of Carmy scrubbing the floor by hand with a little bucket and brillo pad or whatever. The summer I was a cook, I did that a lot. Also - does Carmy have a medieval marginalia-style snail tattoo on his forearm? Could symbolize a bunch of different things, or nothing at all, but a really interesting choice anyway.

I appreciate that this show has neither recaps nor opening credits so as not to spoil the viewer about what is about to happen or who is going to appear.
