Labor Day is referring to the miscarriage that was likely an abortion. I think that’s the accepted theory

I agree, she gets meaner and meaner. To be honest, Elaine was the same way on Seinfeld! / Favorite moment of this reaction: Joe rightfully talking about how great "The King Of Comedy" is! Damn, I wish there more reactions to that movie! (And "After Hours", which I believe Joe is a big fan of as well, if memory serves!). Just like it took a slight period for Gary Cole and Kevin Dunn's characters to find their exact sweet spot, Richard Splett is just starting to find his. I think pairing him up with Jonah is a great move. I sort've cringe how mean he's treated in these early episodes, as just the inept underling. Now he's got something more to do, and immediately has someone to play off of. I can't remember anything about what happens next....I just know that the scene with him and Jonah feels right! PSS: That scene with Gary Cole and Catherine! Oh my god! They are both so brilliant. And you're right, that ending section with Catherine. Can never have too much Catherine in an episode! (or Kent, for that matter! :D )

The audio on this is a bit of a disaster in the beginning, someone's mike was effed....

I think it was the audio interface in general. Sorry about that. We couldn't tell until the audio from the show came in.

I love Kent more and more with each episode. Catherine is always perfect. I love seeing her react to her mom's world. Scorsese's 80s are super underrated.
