Fun fact: Shaughnessy is the same actor as Tim Driscoll

RIP Deadwood mustache. Point of correction: there were no candidates running against each other at the Bullocks' kitchen table. Seth running for sheriff and Sol running for mayor. Charlie was practicing a speech in support of Seth as his deputy.

I was getting tired of the stache unfortunately. Okay that makes sense. I knew Sol was running for mayor and of course Charlie would be deputy

Late to this--re: Joanie and Cy--remember the dialogue we got from Trixie last season when she was apologizing to Sol for going to Al (I think it's when William is injured): "as much as he's her misery, pimp's a whore's familiar." Paraphrasing the rest, but something about how the sudden, strange, or violent draws her to him. And I think that's what we're seeing. Trixie has something to run away to (Sol)... in addition to the trauma of Wolcott, Joanie doesn't having something (at least at this point) like Sol to run away toward. Freaking Milch, man. Who writes dialogue like that?
