Your reactions to Veep are so good, you're catching so many of the comedic elements thrown at us even with the crazy fast pace. I think the show reaches its absolute peak during this season and season 5, so you're in for a treat after this, enjoy the ride!!

There's barely a day in this country that you could watch this episode and not have it be an uncomfortable coincidence with real events, but some of the details of the shooting in the episode are uncanny to the shooting in NYC yesterday (four dead, possibly partly due to PTSD in the episode and possibly partly due to CTE in the real incident).

And I do like this episode a lot, but the best satire I've seen of the "Thoughts and prayers" response to mass shootings in this country has to be the Bojack Horseman episode titled "Thoughts and Prayers".

Jeez, this is one helluva well-written episode! And acted! I feel like I watched an hour episode....in only thirty minutes. What a magic trick! I have to hand it to Hugh Laurie (and Tom James!), he navigated this episode brilliantly. Amy at the lobbying convention, holy smokes, great acting. And yes! Finally, Richard Splett has arrived, I think they figured out how to write for him! So happy you guys feel the same way! That scene with all the guys drinking......fantastic. Must have been so much fun to shoot! You don't often see scenes with all those guys at once! Matt Walsh was fantastic in this episode as well. Then the dinner with her friends, oh man. What an episode, and as usual, you guys are right there, catching everything! PS: Even that first scene, with Mike's wife, impeccably written and acted by the both of them. We give this episode 5 Catherines! :D

Man, I cannot wait to see you guys react to Jonah these last couple of seasons. It just gets weirder and Tim Simons continues crushing it. Dude should have won like three Emmys imo.

You're right, we really don't get many scenes of all the guys together. Such a strong episode and the show has really found it's stride
