I too became a Member, and then Super-Patron for the quality of your analyses. Seriously, great work to all of us, and you both!

Enjoy your first of many rewatches! I have long since lost count of what number I'm on. I hope you guys let us know how you like the podcast when you get around to it!

If Sorkin did another West Wing, I could easily see Charlie coming back as the White House lawyer. And you could easily cameo the former president and even Will since he's running for a seat he can win. A lot of others would be a stretch though I'm sure they could find something.

I can't believe it's over! Thank you so much for doing this series, it gave me something to look forward to every Monday night. Loved your commentary, and I'm glad you liked it as much as i do!

My goodness. I didn't even make it through the cold open before the waterworks started. The flood gates opened up when Abby said "separation of powers, what a crock" and Jed was too deep in his thoughts to even chuckle. I wonder if this last episode has the fewest spoken words; it certainly felt like it. They let the camera do most of the talking here. The only unexpected character was Mallory, and it was really nice to include her for the gift of the napkin. The applause when President-elect Santos steps out onto the dais fills my heart. It's like they're applauding the successful conclusion of the show. So it turned out that Sellnick was elected Speaker of the House after Santos chose not to fight him on it. And yes, that wasn't Glenn Close, but they did announce her character by name (Evelyn Baker Lang). Oh my God, RONNA walking into the Oval Office with her baby face. She looks so doe-eyed, but not in headlights. If the current occupants of the building had even 1% of her reverence... What an incredible final season to a great series. As good as the earlier seasons were, this one is always my favorite. I am so grateful to this cast, the writers, and the whole production crew for what they gave to us. Though the current state of our politics is as far from ideal as it has ever been in my lifetime, this show remains aspirational. They have shown us what could be and what should be. Thank you Joe and Kevin for sharing your experience with us.

I have to echo others in that I found your channel on YouTube looking for West Wing reactions. I had just finished rewatching the series and was very surprised that I couldn't find any reaction videos, aside from your channel. It was very early into the first season too, so I was a little hesitant to go in since it would be a very long journey. I am glad I decided to stick with it, not just for this show but the several others I have enjoyed watching with your company. I hope you do a reaction video for the HBO Max special. I'll see you on the next watch!

I can join the choir... I found you guys looking for west wing reactions in the internet, and boy, did i find them! I started watching your channel mid 1st season, and joined your patreon probably just when the season 1 finale came out to youtube. I just realized I cannot wait, I have to see where you are! So, late March 2023, I joined this Patreon, and did not regret one moment or one cent of it. Thank you for the awesome journey guys! Errr... have you potentially considered doing a live premier on youtube for the YT version of this episode's reaction? it would be so awesome to 'meet' you guys, still on a West Wing watch...

Funny trivia. When Bartlet is asking Nancy how her mother is doing and says he looks forward to seeing her again, it’s an inside joke. Nancy was played by Rene Estevez, Martin’s daughter.

Well, guys, I'm starting Season 1 Episode 1 with you shortly! Back to Mustache Joe!

We appreciate you being here with us. I can't wait to go back and watch this show on my own and on my tv! It's been an amazing journey and we are incredibly grateful for you joining us.

Youtalkingtome

We still haven't figured the whole live thing out yet. Hopefully down the road we can figure something out. You have no idea how grateful we are for you being here. It means the world

Sorkin talks about a reboot or sequel series every few years. He got very excited about it just after the 2020 election, talked about having Sterling K. Brown play a new president with Charlie as his Chief of Staff. It never came together. Joshua Malina likes to tease his Twitter followers about it, he’ll post vague stuff about big new projects everyone will be excited for, then it turns out to be a commercial or something 😂 I used to hope for it, but the show would need to address the ways politics has changed the last decade. That might be pretty dark, and dark was never the show’s tone. When Sorkin talked about it a few years ago, it was in the context of the country recovering from four years of an anti-Bartlet. I don’t know that the atmosphere is right to do that now.
