Carmy, my guy, gotta come up for air now… He’s so resistant to acknowledging he’s not doing well. I suppose it’s understandable, but tragic to watch - like a car crash in slow motion. And, this isn’t a spoiler because I’m watching along for the first time here too, I would bet there’s more to the burn story. The way he told it felt incomplete, like he was trying to brush it off. I would bet it has something to do with hitting the bottom once before. But again, just a guess. On a lighter note, I love the Tweedle-Dee & Tweedle-Dum nature of the brothers Fak — and I mean that in the most loving way possible. Something about the way they talk to each other and hype each other up reminds me of the Barbies in…well, Barbie. Y’know? Also - ‘Caterpillar’ was a very telling answer for Richie. What an unexpected font of wisdom he is :)

Season three is a bit hit and miss for me, mainly due to immense frustration, lol. I do love the Richie scenes with his daughter this episode, they're so precious. I love seeing that softer side of him.

If not that's okay but just checking if you're thinking of doing uncut versions of this too? I don't have Hulu here and the cuts (for the ads maybe, not sure) make it out of sync at times.

Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares series was a very hit and miss show (I maybe watched half of the episodes), but one that stuck with me was very different from most of the others, which was Gordon's visit to La Riviera, a fine dining restaurant in a distant corner city of Scotland. The place has an amazingly talented chef running a fine dining restaurant for the very first time, with a clear goal to earn his first Michelin star. His staff includes an experienced sous-chef, and he has access to all the finest ingredients. Yet the restaurant is bleeding money. Any of that sound familiar? :D Now the underlying reasons for the problems were very different from that at The Bear, but the episode is educational all the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kRjemvOST8 Bonus video short: How Gordon Ramsey won his THIRD Michelin star. https://youtube.com/shorts/uofUdUjXb5g?si=PLzcqpNipuM2YuRu
