I’m not sure if you guys caught it but the reason why the Chinese and Minna were so scandalized is because they thought Catherine and Marjorie kissing were her and Selina 😆

“My name is my name!” One of the most memorable quotes from the series.

You guys talking about how Andre Royo never got an emmy just before he delivers maybe the most powerful scene in the whole damn show

Joe's "yinz" shirt reminded me to suggest The Pitt, recent HBO show that swept the Emmys. There's a number of reaction videos from real doctors discussing why it's much more accurate than most previous medical shows, but not as much in the way of reactions to the also excellent drama and character development.

Sonja Sohn has worked pretty consistently since The Wire. She also has made 2 very well done documentaries “Baltimore Rising” which looks at conditions in Baltimore 10 years after the wire and “Slow Hustle” which is a documentary tied to the We Own This City limited series. She also founded a charity focused on helping kids in these underprivileged neighborhoods.

Love that we finally see Marlo lose his cool, now that the shit has hit the fan.

Pam Nail

Marlo rarely/never shows any emotion, so when he does it stands out. "MY NAME IS MY NAME" is such a chilling moment of him losing control. I also love that you guys were so convinced that Snoop was going to drop that "deserves" line just before killing Michael, which made the actual scene so satisfying. That's how you know this is a great show -- it takes your expectations and turns them in on themselves.

Season 5 gets some valid criticism, but this episode is a top-5 for me, maybe a top-3. It's just so packed, every scene is great. Bubble's speech and Snoop dying are the highlights, I rewatch them all the time, but there is no weak link.

The final scene between Michael and Dukie always makes me cry. Either Michael, at just fifteen, has already been through so much that he can no longer remember the good and innocent moments of his life because they’ve been replaced by violence and trauma — or he’s trying to push Dukie away, cutting all emotional ties, because he knows it would be dangerous for Dukie to stay close to him once Marlo’s people start coming after him. Brilliant writhing

Youtalkingtome

It's so good. Dukie's future is so bleak and depressing. I love that they drew a parallel with him and Bubbles. The writing in this episode blew me away

Youtalkingtome

I think because we heard this season was "bad" my expectations have been lowered and this season has blown me away

Robert Bauman

Agree with others that, although this season is not the best, there are still some excellent episodes and moments. The Bubbles and Michael/Dukie storylines in this episode are tough to watch but very powerful. I personally think the finale is excellent. FYI it is like 90 minutes long, so essentially 2 episodes.
