Looking forward to this one but had to jump in real quick. Nathan Lane's character is "Teddy." I presume it's short for Theodore and his son is named for him. Also, not sure if anyone's mentioned it but there are easter eggs in the opening credits for each ep.

Jane Lynch! I love her! And what a brilliant choice to have her as Steve Martin’s body double - hilarious, yet surprisingly plausible. I’m very on the fence about Jan, and could be persuaded either way. She did get super invested super quickly, so that’s kinda suspicious. Then the thing with the concert and cleaning brush (ew) doesn’t look great…She could be first chair, just not the soloist for this performance - especially if they’re “breaking with tradition”. Then again, she would have known she wasn’t the soloist long before the performance; but she could have just told Steve Martin she was as an extension of “I’m fine, don’t worry.” And Jan *could have* had an affair with Tim, I suppose... But then, so could the young bassoon soloist who we know nothing about yet…. Hang on, I’m gonna go get a bulletin board and some yarn, lol.

The comment about the guy in the pisser, is a reference to the documentary The Jinx. It is a remarkable documentary to watch.😳

You can't be evicted period without a judge involved whether you own or rent, they need a court order and you have a right to appeal. However you are right, with them owning the properties it's a much harder, longer procesz, generally they would be fined and then after enough unpayed fines built up the hoa might sue and get a court order forcing them to pay or sell the property. It is possible they signed some contract that allowed eviction as a condition on buying the property, but that would still take a lawsuit, and Mabel presumably didnt sign anything , so it would have to be against her aunt I think. I'm not a lawyer though and don't own property so could definitely have some of that wrong.

This is my first time watching and I’m going to throw out a curve ball suspect before the final episode and the reveal, Oscar’s dad. He obviously had motive but I hope it’s not him.

If the stunt double's name is "Pataki" that is an inside joke about former Governor of NY George Pataki who served from 1995-2006. One of the few times in the past 100 years that very Blue NY State actually elected a "moderate Republican". He was a "Romney type" when such a thing still existed pre-Tea Party- he was pro-choice, introduced new health care programs, passed pro environmental clean up programs, liberalized some of the harshest drug laws in the country and was for some pro-LGBTQ rights (civil unions and equal contract and tax laws but not marriage) but "tough on crime" and reintroduced the death penalty and tax cuts https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Pataki Actually shows how far to right Bill Clinton and "Third Way" Democrats had swung post Reagan and HW Bush...since his policies sound like Clinton's 2nd Term

Jane Lynch is such a highlight in this.
