Kt B

My guys - Oz first cheated on his girlfriend (falling victim to out-of-control urges he’s never succumbed to before), then he realized the person he cheated with was trying to kill his girlfriend, and then he killed her. He, Oz, killed someone. He has to come to terms with that, and if “I can’t resist the wolf within me” means he could kill someone again, that’s brain-melting. How is he supposed to stay with Giles and the crew and work through his issues when all of them are on Willow’s side? How can he deal with the shock of what he’s done when he has to deal with the fallout with Willow. The gang knows everything they know about werewolves because of him. If he wants to understand it and control it, or at least come to peace with it, I fully get why he thinks looking outside Sunnydale seems the best option for him. He can’t go to the police and be held accountable properly by the justice system because they don’t understand. He can’t go to a therapist, because the therapist would misidentify the issue as delusion. His whole support system is inextricably bound up with Willow, and although she has every right to be devastated about it, he’s dealing with his own devastation. Nobody in the gang is really equipped to help him process the trauma of learning that he committed murder (in defense) and that he’s absolutely capable of doing it again.
