One of the all time best sitcoms, and a great show to rewatch every once few years, as the jokes hold up really well as you can tell. And it's not obvious, but the crew shown in the scene at the end was crew of both TGS and for 30 Rock itself! And as you guessed, the last two episodes aired together as a finale, but not back to back. They were actually edited together, so the storylines and switches are better interspersed throughout the entire thing. For example, the early gag cutting to the credits after Tracy starts to speak slowly would have shown up at the time a normal episode ended if you watched the combined version. For some reason though, while every other streaming service has the finale as aired, Peacock has them separately, and they actually have less scenes, with several bits cut out of the two separate episodes that are in the combined episode. I would recommend checking out the combined finale on another streaming service if you get a chance.

No wonder I was having so much trouble syncing up!

Good times. Thank you for sticking with it! I like that Liz ended up working on Grizz and Dotcom’s show. Also felt like those were real tears for Jenna actress. And Jack’s love speech was sweet. It’s sad to say goodbye to such a fun show.

I had only gotten a Peacock subscription for a short while for one other thing and was planning to cancel it around the time they switched to it from Hulu as their source for this... so I was finally going to cancel it now and then they started Brooklyn 99 which had itself moved from Hulu to Peacock just before. Grr.
