I think one reason they spent so much time focusing on the Aldani’s last week so that it would hit harder when we hear that they’ve all been arrested. This episode is showing us some of the innocent people already paying the cost for the rebellion. Not just the Aldani’s, or the dead members of the heist team but also the random people being given prison sentences for petty crimes.

I agree. It was really strong visual storytelling. I also appreciate the commentary on people being imprisoned unreasonably for minor or concocted offenses.

Afraid the episode is still out of sync with the sound!

After the masterclass of the last arc, that slow buildup of tension that just became bigger and bigger, at the time I was ready for a more pensive episode. And episode 7 is, to a large extent, but when the conversation between Tay Kolma and Mon Mothma came around, I found it just as tense and exciting as the heist. This is what stands out to me with this entire series, the writing is just. So. Good. Oh, and also, we get to the Imperial I.C.E. agents! Fun times!
