Shortly after this season aired, Meryl's team released a statement that she and her husband had been separated for years. No reason to announce that unless you're going to be seen with someone new and want to get ahead of rumors. I remember people saying she and Marty had great chemistry and wouldn't it be funny if...Then they started being seen in public together. 🥰

I really like your theory about an accidental overdose being part of Ben's murder - that makes a lot of sense to me. I don't know how it fits with the actual death-by-falling, but it seems quite plausible for his initial collapse. Agreed, both Charles and Oliver were pretty self centered this episode, but Oliver was outright mean when he snapped at Mable. I'm sure they'll resolve it all, but that particular exchange was a little rough to watch - especially because they're usually all so endearing. The bit with Charles' emotional support fish was great though. President McKinley had quite a day, lol.

Just the stage version of Wicked has injured like - idk if it’s literally all the earliest Elphabas, but most of them. Idina Menzel getting dropped in a hole, Stephanie Block got flown right into the lighting equipment, Ana Gasteyer got pinched in the lift . . . not to mention Kristin Chenoweth injuring her neck and having to perform in a bedazzled cervical collar for months.
