Flashheart and the German torturer are a famous uk comedy double act. Their own show 'Bottom' .Its onev of my all time favorites. A BBC comedy that ran for several seasons.

Laura Dawson

Rik Mayall (Flash) is a much loved comedy actor, sadly no longer with us. He and Adrian Edmondson (who played the German officer) were much like Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie in that they largely worked together on projects during the 80s and early 90s. Bottom and The Young Ones are shows they are well known for.

The power dynamic this season is by far the most interesting. Blackadder is arguably at his most formidable, but it's all in service to the entirely human goal of surviving the war. He's George's military superior but social inferior. None of the people with any of the real power give a damn about him or Baldrick, but they do care about George, since he's one of them

Rik Mayall (Lord Flasheart) is one of the biggest comedy icons in the UK. Its hard to put into words just how huge he was here. He also broke America briefly in the 90s in films like Drop Dead Fred.

William Jewell

Really hope the fellas react to Bottom & The Young Ones at some point!

Claire Eyles

As others have said the guy who plays Captain Flashheart was an extremely popular comedian/actor called Rik Mayall (RIP). So popular that you had Australian High School age kids and younger walking around randomly going, "Let's doooo eet", like some 1989 version of 6 7.

Mariska Costeris

I would love to see you guys watch The Young Ones (with Rick and Ade - Flashheart and the Baron). It is deep distilled 80-ties british madness so some if it might be hard to get but honestly, it broke the mold.

"Treat your plane like your woman. Get in her five times a day and take her to heaven and back!" Now that's a memorable line. LOL
