Oh, man. I love this movie. I’ll have to watch it tomorrow though since I’ve already had my nightcap and I’m about to stumble to bed.

Awesome reaction! Thanks!

It really is a crazy combination of genres. I saw this in the theater of all things. It is a bit languorous, but I still love it. Most bad ass naturalist i've ever seen in a movie i think. Marc Decascos I think his name is really felt like he was going to break out around this time and I felt bad that he never really did. I didn't see it but you mentioned he was in a john wick film so i'm hoping he got some good money.

This film is based on a real historical myth/account.

I effin love this film. 😍😍😍 Vincent Cassell did his own English dubbing in this movie. + If you want another Vincent Cassell banger, I thoroughly recommend La Haine (Hatred). Edit: Joe gave La Haine a shout-out, yes it's a really great movie!

Roland

Well that sucks, I just learned that Émilie Dequenne (Marianne) died of cancer last year, at the age of 43. 😪

Roland

> Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times awarded it with a 3/4-star rating, describing the film as resembling "an explosion at the genre factory", though he added: "I would be lying if I did not admit that this is all, in its absurd and overheated way, entertaining." < Fair. 🤣

This is cool!
