I think you're right, Judy is the most unhinged person in the family. Jesse is wild, but she's so unpredictable... the writers probably had a ball thinking up some of those lines! As far as Gideon goes - I'm wondering if Scotty has some sort of leverage over him. Otherwise, I can't quite fathom why he's hasn't severed ties yet either. Hopefully we'll get a backstory for those two at some point also. P.S. Yikes! Injections to the eye? That sounds awful! Hope you feel better soon!

A backstory on Scottie and Gideon would be really great. Letting Scottie into the compound seems incredibly dangerous.

The first time I watched this episode, I learned a very important lesson during the surfing conversation: Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, drink any liquids whenever Judy is featured in a scene. Said liquid will, I repeat, WILL, become an embarrassingly corny spit-take.🤣 Yes, Judy is the most unhinged in a family of not fully-hinged (albeit surprisingly layered and complex💙) humans. PS You will see the unhinged young kid versions of the Gemstones a few times throughout the series🙂.
