I will check this reaction later but I need to say I am < so excited for the next one, undoubtedly the best episode of this season imo. I highly recommend reading the poem dream song 29 right after it because all succession finales are named after lines in it ( next one is called Nobody is Ever Missing) and it comments so much on what happens in it and some themes of the show ❤. Ps: "Henry" in the poem is Kendall

The reason Rava accused Kendall of being back on drugs is because of his dad's smear campaign when he refused to go to therapy. I loved the moment with Kendall, Shiv, and Roman because even though they will fight a lot through this series you can see that the love they have for each other is there. I think the showrunners want to show us that if the three of them are on the same page, they could definitely take down Logan. If you notice both Kendall and Shiv hesitated in this episode because that's how deep their fear of upsetting their father runs, he did a number on them. I'm so glad that you pointed out how Shiv is a lot like Logan because I think out of all of his kids, Shiv is the one most like him and has everything he could want in an heir. Unfortunately, her situation with Nate overshadows a lot of her character this season but Shiv is an EXTREMELY successful political strategist who never loses. She is not like her brothers and has the ability to be cutthroat. Logan gives her shit because she spends her energy on politics instead of standing up to her brothers or even Tom to protect their egos.

We caught that in the therapy episode, it's really heartbreaking that Ken is relapsing as hard as he is. The sibling dynamic is so spot on, it truly feels like the writers have several siblings. As for Shivs cut throat mentality, I have the feeling we've only just scratched the surface of it.
