It's interesting how you commented on how the show is being shown AND told through Fleabag's fourth wall breaks...but have you noticed how sometimes she tells us things in a knowing way that end up being wrong? Like she thinks she's so much more aware than everyone else, so she'll do something like give Claire that dessert and then look at us to say, "She won't eat it" but then Claire does it eat. Fleabag doesn't know the people around her quite as much as she tells us she does.

The official credited name of Goofy Teeth Guy is "Bus Rodent" -- I'm not kidding, look at the end credits. Martin really is abominable. What does it say that the show chose to make the one truly loathsome character an American? (And, unlike often in British series, played by an actual American actor. He often plays eccentric men in other shows I've seen, but never this irredeemable.)

That's a really interesting point actually, she's a little narcissistic in that way. God this show is so brilliant!
