My favorite episode out of what you’ve watched so far is a tie between kennedy vs nixon in season 1 (episode 12–first half the election; second half don vs pete) and six months leave in season 2 (episode 9–freddy rumsen’s firing). Season 4 is my favorite season.

We can't wait to see what happens next. This season has been a rollercoaster. Did not see Betty finding out about Don's affairs so early on.

This episode really gives some good insight/character development to Betty. It's clear she was spoiled by her Dad and that some of her self-centered nature and childishness that you see in this episode stem from that. Up to this point she has been portrayed as a sweet, sympathetic character with an awful husband, so it's interesting to see more layers and complexity added to her. On a related note, your channel gave me an excuse to rewatch Mad Men for the first time. It really is a great show, and , although all the seasons are very good Seasons 3-5 are truly great. Excited for you to progress through

See, in my opinion season 2 is one of the best seasons of this show while season 4 and the last are the weakest. I can't say much without ruining anything. I also think there is plenty of office stories in this season....but let's wait until the season ends for the final verdict. Don't let articles or Matthew Weiner's opinions change how you see this show. Every season is strong in its own way.

I didn't find Betty's "I'm an orphan" to be overdramatic or self-centered, at least in context of her character. Her mother is actually dead, and she's just realised how demented her father is and how soon his death is likely to be. Betty has essentially had her social-emotional growth stunted so she's childlike. It's telling the only person in her whole life she can talk about this with is her childhood nanny - not even her husband or brother
