Don IS as Bert Cooper saw him- very Ayn Randian....he doesn't care what Salvatore is or does as long as everyone "gets ahead". All of his advice- to Peggy, to Freddy and now Sal is about pushing through to self actualize

The clients have ben split 3 ways- Pete says "what are all these Os" and its Peggy Olsen who has all the "female-related" accounts- so the Brits are actually more progressive than Bert and Roger

It's interesting how he affects other people when he learns about their personal lives. He's uninterested in the drama but he still leaves them with some profound advice.

I won't spoil anything (I've seen the show, and decided to rewatch it with your guys's analysis/reactions), but I am very excited for you to watch two particular episodes in S3 - when Betty gives birth and when the British come to visit, both early on in the season. Two of the best in the show.

Are you forgetting the season 2 finale? When Don makes the power play and walks out saying he won’t be part of the agency with Duck as the president; Roger asks, “I hope this won’t affect the deal?” The leader of the British firm who was in the bar when Duck made the original pitch for the merger replies, “Duck could never hold his liquor.” after asking Duck to leave the room. He was announcing the deal was on and Duck is no longer part of the deal. Remember Duck told the two he could deliver sales and creative, proclaiming he and creative were super tight. Duck’s biggest blunder was assuming Don had a contract. 😂

That's true. It's been so long. I'm going to have to give that a rewatch because I though Season 2 was phenomenal.
