I know why you guys think Logan is such a monster which is understandable. While rewatching with you guys I have tried to put myself in Logan's shoes because he is interesting to empathize with. I don't have kids but I try to imagine the pressure he has lived under his whole life between family and business. He has overcome every obstacle in his way and it has all led to this moment where he sees the only way to win as to sell his company. He no longer believes he has a worthy successor to his throne and in that case, he might as well sell. It adds another dimension to a king passing his throne to his son upon his death. In this scenario, the old king can just liquidate his kingdom, stack it in a pile and wait to die, leaving his kids empty-handed, which is quite the twist for a show called "Succession." Love your guy's reaction and can't wait for you to get into season 4!

Yes and no. In this family there is no "wrong." He did go behind his wife's back but based off how she has been treating him it's understandable why he did it. I can't wait to see where Tom goes next. Unreal twist.

He is a monster but you're right. You can empathize with him, none of the kids deserve it though. They really don't. I don't think any of them are capable to take the company over.

I'm glad Connor finally stood up for himself in the intervention scene, "I love all 3 of you pricks, but what do I get from you chumps but chump change" basically sums up his relationship with his siblings. Despite him showing time and time again that he cares for his sibs, they don't really take him seriously and oftentimes don't even treat him like family. This was one of my favorite episodes and I know guys are gonna love season 4, great reactions as always!

I'm in uncharted territory here, I'm watching behind you guys which is mad given I was watching this show from the start before most people had heard of it (so all my theories here are my original thoughts, not spoilers, just wanted to qualify that) - but I saw Kendall dropping the death thing on them coming - didn't expect the end though. All he's done is killed the supermajority clause, not the fact he'll need a majority of shareholders, you get Connor on board, maybe even *for reasons* Marcia (when she came back she undoubtedly got a bigger holding out of Logan) on board, maybe even Sandy and Stewy on board and it's still a dead deal - Shiv has a relationship with Stewy Jr and they won't particularly want to get cut out. Still think it's a Pierce thing in the end because all the kids are chummy with other members of the Pierce family now. Lots of great scenes in this one, they really do like to peak in the last few episodes on the season. Also I'm not convinced it's Tom, either, that seems like a Logan game - I think it's the person Roman is on the phone to when they're driving up... Blink and you miss it but Kendall put his hand on the shoulder of the guy who opened the car door for him when they were leaving, it's such a subtle thing but I liked that. I'm also not entirely convinced this whole setup hasn't been what Logan has been trying to get his kids to do all along, all get on the same page and want to run the business at fighting weight; but there's still somebody missing from the group.

They really don't treat him like family which started off as a funny bit but now it is very apparent that his love for them seems very one sided!

It is nice that they are all on the same side. I wonder if they can actually come together and make something. They are so dysfunctional I don't think they can.

What a strong season finale this was. That scene where Kendall admits what happened with the car accident to his siblings is such a powerhouse. Greg's transition from sympathetic underdog to total sleazebag is so funny to me. When we meet him, he's this lovable loser without a penny to his name, staying at a youth hotel and sneaking back pastries from work to eat at home. Now he's glibly ditching the woman he had a crush on to pursue someone else just because she has a royal title, suing greenpeace, and proudly selling his soul to the devil with Tom. About Tom's betrayal and that ending. I think they set it up perfectly. Throughout the show, Shiv has endlessly betrayed him. She cheats on him, then gaslights him into agreeing they had some understanding, and drops the open marriage bomb on their wedding night. Then she helps him get the job running the cruise division, which immediately implicates him in corporate wrongdoing and sets him up for jail time. As he's staring the prison sentence in the face, she shows no concern, and even argues to the family that it makes sense. And then, finally, the "I don't love you" stuff, first as dirty talk, and then repeated outside the bedroom. Through all of this, he keeps running back to her like a loyal dog. Until finally, he realizes he's tired of getting kicked. And in the moment it really matters, he turns the tables completely.

I'm telling you man, the character dynamics on this show are absolutely insane. This was a perfect set up for the final season
