We are sorry for the delay! Some of the streaming services blocked our ability to record them, so we had to find a workaround to re-record the show and match our reaction to it.

Buckle up guys!! Just 2 actual episodes left from here 🫢It's been such a pleasure to rewatch this wild, crazy, complete gem of a show with you both. Will be back with an actual comment after I get to watch this one ☺️ But for sure The Good Place is a stellar show to follow up this one in the lineup!

The Good Place is fantastic! Please consider watching Bojack Horseman on Netflix. Very tragicomedy in a CXG way.

I think you're ditching Nathaniel as a viable option too soon. If you think about it, he's the one of the three guys who's never abandoned Rebecca. Josh left her at the altar, and Greg moved to Georgia to get away from her. Nathaniel has seen her at some of her worst moments, but has still stuck with her (unless she pushed him away). Something to consider...

No you guys are not crazy, there are plenty of us who watched Mad Men the first time around who can't stand Betty. She is a terrible person and continues to do terrible things. Don is terrible too, but at least he's not terrible with his kids as well. What she did to Carla, and by extension her children, is excusable. Especially considering how close she was to the woman who raised her in Philadelphia. The season five premiere was split into two episodes, 1 & 2 and aired together as a 2 hour premiere. I implore you to watch them both and react to them both together.

Aw that makes me sad. It's been our privilege to watch this for the first time with all of you. Truly one of our all time favorite shows.

Thank you for validating our feelings! We're gunna talk about how we wanna split it or if we wanna split it at all.

The idea of having this "three horse race" is kinda ridiculous and does not really fit the general vibe/message of the show. However, I feel that the next couple episodes will explain why this is happening and why the guys react differently to the situation. Or at least I hope that you will understand this better after the next episodes.

As for White Josh (this might be a slight spoiler, so be aware): I think he is mostly portrayed as a levelheaded guy who does not fall for the same emotional traps as other characters. However, it is also hinted throughout the show that a) he is a big consumer of TV drama b) he is guilty of both downplaying stuff (e.g., his heartbreak in S3) and taking things out of portion (e.g., Greg's and Nathaniel's bonding moment at the gym). So using game show ideas to solve complex interpersonal issues is, in a sense, true to WJ's character or at least to the immature side of him.

I'm so enjoying see you reach the end of the show... and a bit sad at the same time. ;) It was seeing that you were covering it that immediately moved me to be a Patron, and I'll miss your perspective being part of my week. (I've certainly never before met CXG watchers who were so into Trent!!) As for the 3-dates thing, I'll just reiterate something that you yourselves just said at the end of the video: trust the show. And then I'll shut up on that point. I think The Good Place is a WONDERFUL idea for a show to react to. I would just urge you not to read up on it or know anything about any aspect of it in advance. Each episode is a lovely surprise, and it's unlike anything else.

I know, you were one of our earliest subs and I appreciate you coming on this journey with us my friend! Can do! I won't watch a thing about it!

Thank you, that is what I am saying. What Audra planned to do is not the same thing as Rebecca, because she was not married with triplet sons at home.
