new girl?

Lydia

The female bass player in the band is played by actress, Liza Weil. Mrs. Maisel's show creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, also created Gilmore Girls, where Liza was a series regular. For those who were fans of Gilmore Girls and then watched Mrs. Maisel, a lot of series regulars and guest stars from Gilmore Girls pop up in this show.

And of course these guys probably recognize her from her guest role on The West Wing! She was the White House staffer who leaked Leo's medical history.

Weird Magic

Originally airing on December 6, 2019, 'Panty Pose' is Episode 3 of Season 3 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It is the 21st episode overall and has an IMDB rating of 8.5, placing it as the #3 ranked episode of this season and #9 out of all the episodes shown so far.

Yannick, from Montréal

Unfortunately, the voice of Shy Baldwin signing is not Leroy McClain (the actor playing the character), it's Darius de Haas (Rent). But Sterling K. Brown did really sing his part!

Mithroch

Sterling K Brown was just on Hot Ones this week. He was fun.

The ep that won cinematography is episode 5 not 4! So close but one more to go before you get to it. It's called "It's Comedy or Cabbage" and I can't wait. Vegas is interesting for the old casino sets, but the outside shots in this case have to be either completely CGI made or old stock footage. You guys mentioned Miami and that's where you really get to see some great on location scenes because they actually filmed there like they did with Paris. Another ep I probably haven't watched since it came out. It felt like a lot of set up but it came alive more at the end with the Midge standup and Shy/Reggie singing scenes. Also yes, Ethan is a twin and so is Esther or, well, Esthers lol. The actors playing Ethan stay the same until the final season but the ones playing Esther seem to change a bit I can never keep track.

Seems like child actors are often recast. We just dealt with that on Mad Men. My bad, I thought it was 4. Regardless every episode we've seen has been Emmy Worthy!
