I have to agree, Nick and Jess have crazy chemistry! I respect Nick for choosing what was best for him with the info he was given. I also have to admit, I like Sam! He's hilarious. The show is very modern, nice you pointed that out. Any other show would have them already worrying about their lack of stability or impending parenthood. Although it does have an aspect of that, it's not the main focus. The characters get to experiment. I think that's something that makes New Girl a great rewatch. Great reaction, guys. Looking forward to the next

Thanks for the kind words! We love this show too. This is our favorite way to end the work week, New Girl is truly special.

I got to visit set this episode! I was up on the catwalk with one of the lighting guys during the opening scene. The loft had such great set design.

I got to briefly say hi to Jake Johnson, he was hanging out on the couch before they started filming. I was told not to get in Zooey Deschanel's eye line. Partly why I was in the catwalk and partly because I was into lighting. They actually filmed a new intro sequence that day that never ended up being used for the show. It was just a lot of different poses from the cast on a backdrop.

It’s probably never left the editing suite. But yeah, the whole apartment set and the rooms inside were all built in one soundstage. Pretty cool!

I love Schmidt as the Republican of the group. This comes back a few times and it's really well done! 😁
