Devlin Murphy

One of my favorite episodes. The Salute to Fireworks remains an amazing joke

So many great lines/moments in this episode! "I don't do that..." "Thanks, PHONE!!!!" "Confederate Monster: The Tobias Spurlock Disaster." I also had major flashbacks to waking up to the DVD menu screen the repeating music!!

Yeah, also WOW on Soul Man... Also, remembering looking up Fisher Stevens on IMDB not too long ago and he has definitely apologized and said he absolutely would never have done it today.

There are shows that I wouldn't recommend because they fall off, but the first 3 seasons of Arrested Development are an absolutely MUST watch. I heard the Netflix seasons were terrible so I actually wound up never watching them and I'm absolutely find with that decision. The first 3 seasons though are hilarious and I can't remember how many times I've watched those and still catch subtle jokes I never noticed before. I actually recall I've bought those seasons on DVD at least twice....hah, DVD callback.

The writing on Arrested Development was astonishingly good, supported by simply stellar casting / acting.

Tootsie is amazing because, much like Mrs. Doubtfire, it has been running on TV at all hours for forty years without anyone complaining... and then suddenly a year ago the right-wing decided it was anti-drag queen. It's amazing how completely fake all culture war nonsense is.

It's an incredible film. I hate the overreaction to classic films today. It was the early 80s and I don't think it goes way over the top in that regard at all.

Liz's confession monolog is my favorite. I lied, I've had 5 donuts today. "

Kevin's moment of realization about what that fireworks show looks like was priceless.

Liz Lemon is a monster! The show's lucky that Tina Fey's hilarious and that she somehow still makes us like her because woof. So far the show has been incredible. I will say that there's not enough Jane Krakowski for my taste and that the MVP so far is Alec Baldwin. He is fantastic in this!

guys Ben Kingsley's real name is Krishna Pandit Bhanji, so I wouldn't really consider what he did brownface
