The end of a journey! I had a lot of fun rewatching the show with your reactions. I highly recommend watching the documentary that came out with the finale (Best Wishes, Warmest Regards) about the filming of the last season. I'm excited for the Derry Girls journey, the show is a blast.

"Simply The Best" was one of TWO great reprises at the wedding.... "Precious Love" (the first song sung by the Jazzagals) was at the end of the Barn Dance episode, season 2 finale, when the family was dancing together and they had finally all accepted their lives in Schitts Creek. Lovely use of great music!

Yes, "Best Wishes, Warmest Regards" (which is also the title of the book about the making of the show) is great. Unfortunately it's never been part of the streaming package and has to be bought or rented from one source or another (it has jumped around), which doesn't lend itself to a watch-along format. But it does let us spend more time with the characters. Seeing Jocelyn and Ronnie as they look in real life is quite a fun surprise!

It’s currently on freevee for free with ads though so it’s definitely up to them if they want to watch it but I 1000% recommend. It’s the perfect send off to this series.

Amazon Prime has the documentary as the last episode, so if you have that you should be able to see it there.

It may be a lost cause around here, but as a music teacher (one with a sense of humor, I hope!), may I plead for the use of the word "reprise"? It's the one that musicians use. And a "reprisal" is an act of revenge.

This series (along with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) is where I began with you guys! So it's bittersweet to see it come to an end for you. And it's been a touching experience to see your feelings evolve as mine originally did (and I think others as well): at first, "oh, it's a nice episodic feel-good fish-out-of-water sitcom," and then as Alexis commences her higher education and David meets Patrick "we seem to be evolving here," and by the end it has created a whole cherishable world that we hate to say goodbye too. And yes -- it's super rewatchable! I've done it so many times, and watching with you makes one more. And it won't be the last time I'm sure. Thanks for the experience.
