they can be a bit critical considering the way nicks acting! plus, it'll make the eventual character development all the more sweeter :) Also, i think its absolutely fair to call nick out when he literally went, 'i feel happy and proud that i wrecked your relationship' ;-;

I agree with your guys' take on Nick in this episode. Of course, it is a sitcom, but what he did wasn't right and then to boast about it when she's obviously upset about it is another level of dumb. I love Nick and his journey, but there's a time and place. Will definitely miss Sam, though. The episode was hilarious all-in-all.

I think this show sometimes falls into the same issue that a lot of funny sitcoms do, where there’s a gender bias around sexual harassment and consent. I would consider the actions of the pink-suited lady at the convention to be gross, but they’re played off for just fun. (IMO Schitt’s Creek is surprisingly careful about things like that, which I love it for.) I was sad to see Sam go like that, and Nick handled *most* of that situation badly, but I’m also glad that he and Jess were able to clear the air between them somewhat.

It is a little dated. We really have to separate reality when we watch this one. Schitt's Creek is phenomenal about certain issues and this show can be a little ignorant of it at times. All in all still a great show and we have a blast doing it each week.
