2026-09-12 19:00 You completely misunderstood the fingers thing. He was sent to show Joffrey the wight's hand and make him believe that the White Walker threat was real.
2026-07-08 14:52

721Marty

Well guys the wolf that bite the fingers off was Robb’s wolf from a northern lord. What Mormont meant was the hand of the dead guys that attacked him in the night and Jon and ghost saved him. He wants the dead man’s hand presented to Allan because they want more men to fight the death. Little missunderstanding there :)

The moment that changed TV forever. You're not supposed to have the balls to do this on a TV show in season 1. BALLS

Sarah_M

You guys *hugs* 😭😭😭. You started the show/season/*episode* as children of summer... now, that tis no more. The steadfast belief you had that he would make it through just made this so much more soul crushing. I cried. I cry every time. It never hurts less.

Perry Taliaferro

Yeah, they confused what Rob's Dire Wolf did with Umber's fingers instead of the Jon's there, I think.

Cristabel

The moment in GOT when you realize GRRM doesn’t do plot armor 😭

Phylicia ✨🌸

We were all not ready for this. It still hurts to this day. 😔

Violet

15:09 🤣🤣🤣 you two are HILARIOUS

Perry Taliaferro

Sorry, I didn't see this when I posted a similar response. My bad :) EDIT - My response was nowhere near as concise and well said as yours however. :D

721Marty

No problem my friend it’s always better to write it down twice

Whoknowsdude

And now you know why everyone loves Game of Thrones hahaha. Better get that map asap. The ride has just begun

Ashley Pedersen

This was the episode where we all realized that absolutely no one is safe. No one. Buckle up, gentlemen!

Coral of Bread

Well Ned definitely isn't in the dungeon anymore

Corey

I know it hurts 😥 now but at least Ned's in a better place.

BrendaPerry / GramBree

This episode shows that no one is safe in this world. BTW, Yoren, a recruiter for the Night's Watch, saved Arya during Ned's execution. As Ned was led to his death, he spotted Yoren in the crowd and muttered the word "Baelor". This directed Yoren to Arya, who was standing on the statue of Baelor the Blessed. Yoren grabbed Arya and shielded her eyes so she would not see her father beheaded.

DoomGummy

Welcome, to the game of thrones.

Eric Carter

As I've been watching these reactions and have seen you guys predicting Ned escaping the dungeon for revenge I couldn't help but think how this moment was going to impact you. It's like reliving 2011 all over again.

Nico

Oh my dear summer children… you just met the winter.

dave hughes

Welcome to thrones... Nobody is safe here.

MomzillaAngie

It's a good one, guys. This one breaks everyone. This episode is where everyone sees for real that this show is not like any other show out there. No one is safe.

Violet

Great reaction, guys. I knew this one was going to be tough to watch.

SamlovesWillow

A prophetic reaction to begin with guys but yeah, it's sad and unexpected. Lovin the OG t-shirt Mikey btw

Jim Ellis

And that ladies and gentlemen is why we love great reactions. Mike/Sean I know it sucked, but it was worth the price of admission. It gut punched everyone that watched the show for the first time. What that also tells us is that no one is safe, and nothing is off limits with this show. Its going to be a good ride!

Perry Taliaferro

Just finished this. Man, my heart breaks all over again watching these two get hit the same way I did originally

Erin Vincent

You are right, i always tell people dont get attached to ANYONEEEEE

LittleHorus

Was waiting for your reaction on this since episode 1!! I remember how devastated i was when i first saw this .

Almanac

"He's such a major character, they can't kill him!" My brother in Christ, that's what makes this show what it is...Ned's death proves from this moment on that no one is safe.

Kyle Kozina

Ahh so you’re alive? 😂😜 for anyone who watched Independence Day reaction.

Choncho

Heartbreaking :(

TommyHawks

“It’s pronounced hooker” 😂

Ashley Pedersen

You can’t, not with this show. I love and hate it.

Nate Terry

no such thing as plot armor here lol. in the previous episode, a spy/scout from the lannisters got into Robb's camp and was counting how many men he had. When captured, he told Robb he counted 20,000 men even though Robb had said earlier that he only had 18,000. He intentionally let the scout go back to the lannisters with the wrong count even though everybody in Robb's camp wanted the scout to be killed. Next, Robb sends his "army" to Tywin's camp (Tywin said "the wolf jumps into the lion's mouth") but it was a decoy army of only 2,000 men...meanwhile, Robb and the rest of his army went to Jaimie's Lannister's army and took them by suprise and captured Jaimie. Jaimie's army was smaller and capturing Jaimie could give them leverage with Ned, Sansa, and Arrya.

Melanie D

Oh god, this is an absolutely wild episode to start with the statement, "I wanna see someone impaled" 🥲

Dawn

My sweet summer children… your reaction was so heartfelt. I can’t wait to see more! Love you guys! ❤️✌️

2026-09-07 04:00 No longer Sweet Summer Children

Syd

Mikey, if you cried at this I really have to warn you about the rest of the show...

Mudge Pendragon

this was a hard moment that hit the world of TV but then again it was Sean Bean and well....

MomzillaAngie

Fun Fact: The executioner (Ilin Payne) used Ned Stark’s own sword, Ice, to do it. In the book they let Ilin Payne have it for a time.

Corey

Everytime I see his name I prep a eulogy. 😄 🤣

Nova Rain

The false hope you had before it happened… ouch. We love you, Mikey and Sean - we felt your pain right along side you and are with you, grateful to share this journey.

Jon Bull

Hits home hard.

Kevin Bisson

Gotta say, I was surprised by the emotional response. I knew, as anyone who has seen the show has, that this episode is shocking, but I didn't expect this from Mike and Sean. Love all the jokes and goofiness as always, but now I'm looking forward to further reactions to the show even more of the emotional reactions. Cheers!

Kylezart

Dont worry, this show gets even more compelling. It is sad though, I cried with you, Mikey. Season 2, lets go!

Jim Ellis

Jorah Mormont is not only a great fighter, he's also a great explorer! People refer to him as Jorah the Explorer!

J C

Game of Thrones was one of those shows.. where you think there's no possible way that something could happen. And then it does. I think it took all of us a really long time to process what happened in this episode. But keep going. You're just going to get more and more invested in it, for sure.

Erik G

I was in college when this show was released and began airing weekly me and about 8 other buddies would gather and watch every Sunday night. Many times the actions in this show made it very hard to have to wait 7 days to watch again but also some actions such as Ned dying made it difficult to want to watch ever again. Looking back on it now it is the true beauty of this show and why it ranks in my top 3 things I have ever watched!!

Dirigible

Look up the REAL story of Tysha - they never reveal it in the show so it's not a spoiler. It was a big mistake not to use it.

Jess Landry

welcome to game of thrones

Kenny

Thats what I thought back then. Untill the Red Wedding

Kenny

If this was the only video you uploaded this month it still would have been well worth the money. I felt Mikey's pain at the end

Justin

Yayyyy

CaptainMaakasu

So glad the Uncles hadn't gotten the ending spoiled beforehand! Fantastic reaction <3

Justin

It is indeed, the janitor from Harry Potter lol

Justin

Nah, given his history it’s expected. The red wedding on the other hand…

Justin

Oh Lordy, their relief. Just before. Oh man. Sweet summer children ❤️

Justin

After they killed the wolf, Lady. I stopped watching. But when I accepted it was a show. And calmed down. I returned. To live this show, is to accept the pain and death of it.

IntrrepidMrRico

"I can't believe they did that, man!" Yep. That was our first reaction too.

GrassTypePokemom

I felt better when I learned that Sansa's actress (Sophie Turner) adopted the dog that played Lady... though I never forgave those evil wolf killers.

BrillC

Does anyone know when episode 10 is being released to lower tiers?

Paralightworx

Mickeys Scream went through my bones

Michael W

That was a rough one. That's when the show said "we're not effing around." That's when we all learned not to get too attached to anyone.

KatieBee

18:07 can't wait til they figure out the Wildling woman is Tonks from HP too

Christian

Now the show begins

Weston Roberts

The episode that broke all the rules about heroes in cinematography.

Weston Roberts

“I want to see someone impaled…” Maybe not the best choice of words for this particular episode. Or the next one.

Asmodean

How much more clueless can these guys get? By this episode everyone should start to understand who the characters are.

Alan Stock

One little detail that would be really hard to pick up on first time watching: Remember when Ned is in the crowd heading to the podium, and he says "Baelor" to his man in the crowd as he's passing him. People watching for the first time are like 'eh? what does that mean?'. I believe it's because he spotted Arya in the distance up by the statue, and we learn in Ned's 'confession' speech the statue is probably of this 'Baelor'. In his podium speech Ned says something like 'under the watch of Baelor'. So by getting that hint from Ned is how Ned's guy finds and rescues Arya. Also its clever of Ned because he is being escorted by enemies and so he can't just say 'oh btw Aryas at that statue' and alert them all.

Alec

“He’s such a major character, they can’t kill him!”

Mitchel

You see Sean Bean, aka Barmier from Lord of the Rings. Aka the best actor for character deaths. You know his character is dying.

Aus-Nay

This episode set the precedence that ANY character can die at ANY moment… more heartbreak to come boys, you’re gonna need to buckle up for the ride!

Rachel Jacob

Welcome to Game of Thrones my sweet summer children.

Brittany R

"I don't know if there's anyone we've met yet who I'd be comfortable putting up against Jamie." *smiles in Brienne of Tarth*

𓆣 KAMIKAZIJUNEBUG 𓆣

Yeah the writing in this series is the reason I’ve always felt off about of George Martin. Who writes that?
