Yes!!!! I LOVED this and I'm SO HAPPY I get to see it again! There's nothing that says reactors have to love every single movie they watch! And if you guys can make an entertaining reaction to a movie that isn't your favorite that just shows how much fun you both are! I happen to love this movie but I'll be the first one to say that it is far from serious! Now if you guys want a good alien movie that is pretty serious has a couple moments of levity but for the most part is incredibly engrossing, tense, thought-provoking, and ENTERTAINING, I'd recommend SIGNS!! I hope you guys had a good weekend and I look forward to this week's reactions!!

Hey guys I seen this movie 3 times in cinemas and it is absolutely one of my fav movies!! That being said I agree with Violet not everybody has to love every movie and if we did it would be a pretty boring reaction channel, u guys made it so entertaining and made me laugh so hard and it’s like 12 midnight here in Australia when I watched it lol kids in bed so had to muffle the laughter 🤭 great job guys keep it up lots of love from Australia

We use miles here in the UK. Also, everytime I here the 20th Century Fox intro it reminds me of a movie and tv concert our orchestra did and we opened with it 😁 it was so cool.

This movie is campy funny slightly serious dramatic action p packed ish it was never meant to be taken 100% serious it involves aliens and it involves Will Smith punching/smack said alien in his tentacle face saying w welcome to Earth it also has everyone's weird uncle that smoke 10,000 cigarettes who is slightly flamboyant and wants to call everybody including his lawyer this is a great movie and I enjoyed your reaction thank you

Well this is one of my favorite movies to watch when I don’t want to think about anything and it still makes me smile a bit at the corniness dumb jokes. Will Smith was a comedian at the time this was made so it’s definitely meant to be campy . I LOVED the reaction! Good job guys! I didn’t notice anything offensive in it. I don’t think any space aliens will watch it so you’re safe! 👽👽👾👽👽

Dr. Okun was played by the same actor that played Data in Star Trek. This was a tough reaction to get through lol. It's like ya'll made your minds up in the first 5 minutes then talked over all the plot and script progression that turned it into a more epic cinematic blockbuster experience that you would have normally experienced the journey of if you had not taken your initial stance and never let it go. You guys are still great and if this was posted up as a second watch / roast it would have been great. The movie was launched as just a fun, family summer blockbuster with big special effects and a fun light-hearted script. It's closer to a 90s action flick than a sci-fi blockbuster. The missile malfunction happened because when he first got in the cockpit he hit the launch button and it called a missile launch malfunction on that same missile at the end of the movie.

I am so glad they made fun of this movie... Its so dumb 😭🤣 I lose it every time thinking about being in the theater and hearing people cheer when the dog makes it in the tunnel as a giant fireball is charging toward it.

I wouldn’t call it a comedy. It’s a campy thriller that has a lot of comedic elements. I love this movie, but to love the movie, you really have to lean into the silliness. Thanks for sharing your reaction with us!

Independence Day is one of my personal favorite movies and this is hands down the best reaction to it I've seen 🤣🫶 i love how genuine you both are and your banter is hilarious lol. I love how you're not afraid to have fun with these movies and joke about stuff and just make it a good time! (Part of why I love this movie is how goofy it is, Mikey lol 😉 I totally feel like its not meant to be super serious!)

I know its wrong to hit another, but I will say being ridiculed and having my wife ridiculed at a pressure situation in my life in global public may get a reaction out of me lol.... Being ridiculed in a quiet shop would make me cry so yup on the world stage, I might not be allowed out anymore. Maybe just my schizoaffective disorder talking but shame being put on you can sting, lasting shame from a young age can end you up like me. As a child I was "teased" by my half brother and sister when they babysat for me, ALWAYS. In school I was bullied and humiliated. Now I have this. I don't care about Will Smith one way or the other but if I was him, I probably would be as weak as him in striking another. We all have bad days and sometimes people strike at us with nasty words and others to laugh at them when we are sensitive. That ends bad.

This watch along was pretty disappointing and I'm only leaving this comment because I see a lot going "oh can't like them all." It's one thing to dislike a movie, and if you didn't like it at the end you should say so, but it's another to come in and just freeze every 2 minutes to do 3 minutes of tedious repetitive fake list bits destroying any pacing and missing information. Why bother watching it if you weren't going to give it *any* chance? I'd be bummed if this was my pick and you wasted your time watching it telling people that you are going to just make fun of it because that's all you'll get out of it. The overtalking began minute one. Just tell people you have too much of a preconceived notion about the film and skip it. Or warn us much earlier than 30 minutes into the movie itself that you hate it and will just be doing your own thing for the rest of the time. I wish I'd just watched the YouTube edit and not waited for this. I'm not mad, and I'll still sub to the channel, but I've never just stopped watching a review like I did today because I felt no connection to the reviewers. I guess you have to see your analytics if I'm in the extreme minority. Maybe it's a big hit. But I definitely see why you put the first part of HP7 out now before this.
