Violet

My favorite HP MOVIE!! SWEET!!! THANK YOU BOTH!!! I'm so happy to see your faces!! And for the record, I'M a turd.

robby C

Love the blinking ‘Please OG’s help me’ in the start lol.

Fredrik Bentzen

Wow, this is amazing! Thanks for giving us both parts ❤️

Donna Coffman

Both parts at once??!! How awesome is that??!! Thank you both for the extra special effort and love! 💖

Violet

Lol, you're too kind! ❤️

TheWalrus

Good on you boys for not spoiling the twist

Snora

Sean I’m so on the same page about that convo in the beginning with Horace - total trafficking vibes :x

Kiffy

What a wonderful surprise! Got a new boss today, so things were a bit hectic. Now I can relax. ☺️ Good luck on your channel.

Kiffy

Where’s the costumes?

Luke

Now THIS is what I'm paying for

Violet

1:21:01 J.K. Rowling arguing with herself, lol

Violet

🤣

amy McLoughlin

In the books Ginny isnt cringe, she's badass and funny and very popular. The movies did her dirty with how awkward that "flirting" is. Also: Pure bloods have all magic parentage. Eg Ron Weasley and Draco. Muggle born are the "mudbloods" who had 2 Muggle parents. Eg Hermione. Half bloods have one wizarding parent and one either Muggle or Muggle born parent, eg Snape is half-blood as he had a witch mother and Muggle father, Voldemort is the same, harry is also half-blood as he had a pure blood wizard father but a Muggle born mother.

Danny Barrett

Both together?? That’s awesome!

Michelle Stump

They're Death Eaters, not Dementors. 🤭 Death Eaters are Vanderpump's army.

Marlen Garling

That was so amazing. Thank you guys.

Grace Hetrick

I’ve been having the worst week I’ve had in a long time, thank you both so much for all your work, I need the escape badly

Tristan Cox

So Mikey and Sean does this mean we need to resubscribe to your, would it be a new channel?

Michelle Stump

Hermione has Muggle parents as did Lily. But the Potter and Weasley families are pure blood. Voldemort is like Hitler. Only pure bloods are acceptable.

Michelle Stump

The twins dropped out in their 7th year which is the equivalent of a senior in high school.

Violet

This is seriously one of the funniest reactions you guys have done!! So many good one-liners!!

Michelle Stump

Luna is pure innocence. She speaks the truth about Nargles etc.

Michelle Stump

Sean, you're attracted to Fabergé Brut? Why? 😂

Dan

And squibs are non magical people born from wizarding parents. I forget his name but the grumpy old Hogwarts caretaker is a squib.

Michelle Stump

They're like Juniors in high school. Hogwarts ferls They're old enough to learn the dark stuff now.

Nate Terry

Interesting bit about this movie....notice that the first and ONLY time you see "daylight" in the movie, was at the end after Dumbledore's death when Harry was in the Headmaster's office. The entire movie was dark literally. Every "day" scene was an overcast or rainy day, symbolizing dark times building up to a crescendo in the climax of the movie...then daylight. Another tidbit....on the train at the beginning, Draco was talking to other Slytherin students and made an off comment about if he had to sit through another Charms class again, he'd "pitch himself off the Astronomy Tower." Which is exactly what happened to Dumbledore at the end of the movie. Lastly, the love potion was only from Romilda Vane. In the first day of potions class, Slughorn showed them the cauldron of love potion, and all the girls creeped closer and closer to it before he put a lid on it. Later, Hermonie told Harry that a certain girl(that was staring at him all the time) was planning to slip him a love potion...and she did. she put it in the chocolates sitting on Harry's bed. but Ron got there and ate them, and immediately fell in love with Romilda. Oh, Final thing i promise: Sluggo's license plate on his Porsche would be PORS MSTR...Potion's Master...his job title..lol

Michelle Stump

Narnia cabinet. Shhhhh...no spoilers..

Luke

You guys HAVE to stop talking over dialogue or put subtitles on for yourselves at least. The amount of information you guys miss by talking and then constantly asking what's happening was funny at first but now you don't even know half the plot points haha. Come on guys

Michelle Stump

She's liked him since Goblet of Fire.

Michelle Stump

The love potion Wasley Snipes ingested was meant for Harry. That's what happens when you eat all the chocolate intended for someone else.

Michelle Stump

Sectrumsempra is a slashing spell. Amazing in the Hogwarts game.

Michelle Stump

The sing at the end is called "Dumbledore's Farewell." Beautiful song.

Michelle Stump

You must now start The Deathly Hallows part 1 & 2. 😂😂

Michelle Stump

Yes, he made the Unbreakable Vow and meant it when he said he would kill Dumbledore if Draco couldn't. He was fulfilling the vow and protecting Typhoid

Melanie D

"Watch that little Kintner boy spill out over the dock" had me doing a spit-take 🤣😭

Melanie D

I love how this film doesn't even *attempt* to explain the "half blood prince" nickname for Snape. 😆 Cliffs notes: Snape's father was a Muggle and a total a-hole (and it's heavily implied in the books and accepted by many people in fandom that he was abusive). His mother was a witch whose maiden name was Prince. Calling himself the Half-Blood Prince by writing it in his books was an indication he identified more with his magical side/his mother.

Melanie D

As someone who absolutely adores Ron & Hermione together, yes the books are way better at showing this than the films. Ron’s a divisive character in the fandom and Ron/Hermione is a divisive pairing, and some people think they didn't have any chemistry in the books either, but a lot of people saw it from a mile away and were rooting for it before this point. There are a lot of thing, big and small, that I think did not successfully translate from the page to the screen -- the romantic relationship dynamics being among those things.

MomzillaAngie

Really great watch! It’s so fun rewatching these with you guys. I love the memory bird bath! I’ll never look at the bird bath in my yard the same way again. 💜❤️🩷🤓

Hyperion

how come the uncut versions are still distorted? other patrons have full unedited reactions with zero copyright issues.

Blaze

OMG I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Blaze

also does Mikey sound like he is talking in front of foil xD

Corey

That ending gets me everytime 😭. Keep up the magic you wonderful dudes.

DoomGummy

You're in for a wild ride. It's just getting started.

Blaze

FYI Sean's grab at the air is now my new fav move!

RavenPetals

We are in the end game now!!

Violet

They are concerned about the channel being taken down because TECHNICALLY copywrite laws still apply on here. It's less strictly enforced than on YouTube but it still is a thing.

Linus Blom

Thinking death eaters are dementors xD

Jeremy G

Love you guys. You guys are just as clueless as Ron is with Hermione sending Ron hints😂

Hyperion

I got four other patreons im subbed too and it hasnt been an issue with them 🤷‍♂️ weird

Linus Blom

Fun fact. Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) got more letters from fans than Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) got.

Dave Jachulski

Hahahaha “like grandpa from the Munsters” that one sent me belly laughing and I have no idea why. It caught me off guard and it was such a nonchalant comment. Needed that today, thank you!

Sarah_M

What an absolutely unexpected treat! BOTH PARTS! This is my personal 2nd favourite movie (the next movie is my fav, so very excited to see what you think of it). For this movie we've got flirting and dating between our teens (I was always Harry/Hermione personally, but sure I see what the writer had set up over the past few films, so I'll live with it I guess), which is all very funny and overly dramatic and I love it. Plus all this mystery with Draco/Severus/Dumbledore. I mean, this movie made me *feel bad for Draco* and I didn't think that would ever happen! Draco has LAYERS now. Kudos. Ugh there's just so much to talk about, it was so great. And I just wanted to say THANK YOU for continuing to use the altered character names in the subtitles. It had me dying laughing whenever Ginny's mum would call out "Ginny!" but subs say "Wesley Snipes Sister!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hyperion

The "Restricted Section" in the hogwarts library is a part of the library that requires permission from a professor or supervision to visit. Its not against the law to be in there. It is restricted only because the magic kept there can seriously hurt people including the caster

Nickd457

The Death Eaters have been trying to recruit Slughorn because he is a Slytherin. That’s what makes Slughorn one of my favorites—he stands to show that being a Slytherin doesn’t mean someone is inherently bad.

Perry Taliaferro

Wow, was NOT expecting both parts!! Thanks guys!!! Guess that yard isn't getting mowed today. I guess, the wife is going to have to do it. Hahaha

Mikey Show Presents

Sorry, Luke, you make a great point. We try but sometimes mess it up but we're on it!

Faith

As far as the taste of the potions, it depends on the ingredients in the potion.

Faith

When i read this book for this movie, I would have to start over on the first book to get out of that devastation I just experienced reading that book. I had to do that until the final book came out. I went to the midnight book parties for the last two books. When I left the midnight book party for the last book, I went straight home and read the last book in a day and a half.

Arthur Tollinchi

And please watch 9 Reinas with Ricardo Darin.please the Argentinian version.

Luke

Can't wait for the last movie drop!

nezudev

harry used a spell that came from that book and that spell effed up malphoy( really deadly). that's why they had to get rid of the book.

Linus Blom

Voldemort was born 1926 and Snape 1960. So Snape couldn't be a teacher when Voldemort was a student. Snape in book was 36 in Autumn term and 37 in Spring term. But because they wanted Alan Rickman as Snape they had to get actors who was older than the book characters.

Lauren R

I think you all are doing a great job pausing for discussion/jokes! Can definitely see you took the general feedback and your making the effort to adapt. I also think there was an expectation that the tone would change after Cedric died in #4. I think for most watchers that was the “oh crap, this is serious now” moment. But I understand it not hitting home too hard for some first time watchers: Cedric is a new character and the movie doesn’t give you many chances to connect with him. Then we had a second chance with Sirius, but I think you were confused or hopeful it wasn’t real. Idk if others have explained, I’m sure they have, but the archway is basically a window into the “other side”. Harry can hear voices (his parents), and Luna says she can too (her mother). After Sirius is killed, he’s pulled through to join the “other side”. Now we have Dumbledore, and this is the big one no one can ignore. We’re in the end game now! The final act is 100% undeniably dark/emotional. I am admittedly team “HP books are better than the movies”, but I’m so glad you both seem to enjoying. In my humble opinion, if things aren’t clear or easily understood that’s the movies fault. Most mega fans only ever watched them with the book addition details already known. I think we forget that we knew more, felt scenes more, and understood what to expect better because we had more knowledge walking in.

SamlovesWillow

Fat Owlbert, omg guys 😂😂😂😂

Erin Vincent

Recent convert from the YouTube page. I’m so loving reliving these movies and getting to see you guys see it for the first time. I absolutely cannot wait until you guys get through the Deathly Hallows!

🦉ChristyBee🧡

I hope things get better soon! Hang in there, friend. The escape definitely helped me this week as well 💙🥹

Kiffy

I heard Daniel was actually drunk when filming the scene with the liquid luck. ⁉️

Linus Blom

Yes Snape is a half blood. So are Voldemort. This is not a spoiler because Voldemort as Tom Riddle's memory told Harry this in the chamber that is father was a muggle. But in Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix Harry says this to Bellatrix. “How come Voldemort wants it?” “You dare speak his name?” whispered Bellatrix. “Yeah,” said Harry. “Yeah, I’ve got no problem saying Vol —” “Shut your mouth!” Bellatrix shrieked. “You dare speak his name with your unworthy lips, you dare besmirch it with your half-blood’s tongue, you dare —” “Did you know he’s a half-blood too?” said Harry “Voldemort? Yeah, his mother was a witch but his dad was a Muggle — or has he been telling you lot he’s pureblood?” “STUPEF —” “NO! DO NOT ATTACK! WE NEED THE PROPHECY!” said Malfoy. “He dared — he dares —” shrieked Bellatrix incoherently. “— He stands there — filthy half-blood —”

Neamh

you miss a lot guys haha banter is funny but constantly is making you miss plot points

cosmominto

Just in case you needed a reason to love Luna more… when she’s wearing the Griffindor lion hat before Ron’s match this is just to support as she is not even in Griffindor! Bloody angel

Eko 17

This what I’m talking about hell yeah you guys totally redeemed yourselfs lol

Scott Schwenz Jr.

Just to clarify something for you guys about the characters ages, in this film the main three are 16, since they’re in their 6th year at Hogwarts. Ginny is 15, a year behind. Malfoy would also be 16

Furkan

"Hopefully your audience is aging along with you." thats exactly what happened back then when i was a young boy who watched movies at theatre. We grew up along with the movies. Which was pretty cool for a first-hand experience.

BRENDA

I bought this because it is so much fun to watch the movie & see what you both think/feel about how the story is unfolding.......:) These movies are the kind that you can watch over & over, and still get a kick out of them!

BRENDA

It happens in old age:)

BRENDA

I do agree that "Pausing the movie" is a good thing (if they need to or want to talk/discuss something)....There are so many things that happen fast in these movies, and you can miss them. So that is a good thing to tell them.

BRENDA

"Here is how it is" Mikey,.....Harry & Hermione are close, but only as brother & sister...Sean has pegged it right from the beginning:)

Trizzd

You guys are my favorite reactors on YT. Reminds me of my late-best friend. Subscribed at the highest tier and look forward to all your videos. Keep up the comaraderie!

ShantiGyu

you guys forgot all about the yule ball, where Ron was bitter that Hermione went with someone else while he also never asked her to go with him and she ended up crying because of Ron, starting from the yule ball it was pretty clear

Nickd457

Great intuition Sean! That hairy black cloud guy is Fenrir Greyback, and he is a werewolf!

Furkan

No one dare giving them spoilers! Please.

Prato 24

So glad you redid your Patreon!!! First full length watch along right here!!!! Physically disabled MSP-OG, and I don’t get out so watching along with you two is going to be huge!!!!

atlas137811

The Deathly Hallows reaction isn’t available to buy like this one for some reason

Jordan Tanner

a half blood is someone with one magical parent and one muggle parent fyi 😁

Blackeyedlily

There are a lot more to the Ron/Hermione thing in the books than in the movies. Although they do hint to it in the movies. It’s more of how they are always bickering at each other from day one. It’s one of those kind of relationships. And if you want to really get into the deeper meaning of this stuff in the books, there is a lot of symbolism that the author uses. Basically without having to write you an essay on the subject, the author uses a lot of alchemical symbolism throughout the books. And in alchemy, there is importance of what they call the quarreling couple, who Ron and Hermione represent symbolically. There is a huge amount of details that I could say about all of that. But I honestly don’t think you guys would care to go into that type of detail. They also make it clear in the books that Ginny has had a crush on Harry from the very beginning. She is one grade younger than him. And her first year at school is the year that Harry ends up saving her in the chamber of secrets. They have one scene very early in that second movie when Harry first gets to the Weasley’s home, and Ginny walks into the room to discover that Harry is there, and she gets really embarrassed and runs out of the room. They put a few other clues in prior to this movie to show Ginny’s crush. For instance in the Order of the Phoenix, when Harry is being left alone with Cho, after one of their group defensive magic meetings, Ginny gives them a look, as she is one of the last people to leave them alone. It’s just little things like that. Much clearer in the books. But for people who have read the books you pick up on all these little things. Honestly, if you ever enjoy any light reading, these books were very popular with adults as well as children. They truly are a fun read. And much more immersive than the movies.

Invvictis

fun fact, in the harry potter universe, before plumbing was invented, wizards and witches would just go to the bathroom wherever they stood and used magic to get rid of the evidence

Caitlin

I love you guys and you make me laugh more than any other reactors never change!

Hopefully Everafter

Honestly giving your channel a chance, but the number of times you stop to talk about things that are so cringe it hurts, and you clearly care more about your own conversation than the film your watching, i dunno...reactioners who no longer actually watch the movies is such a sad addition to the community.

wonyojk

Rupert 20, Daniel 19 and Emma was 18 in this one

Tim Wayne

Dragonsblood is resin from the dracaena tree.

Tim Wayne

This is the best one because of how hard it goes at the end. Imagine all those sobbing kids in the theater.

Benjamin R

"Once you go Muggle you never struggle" is a gem, thanks Mike :) ! (2:14:10)
