Omg.. it is SO hard to keep my mouth shut about my theory crafting.. all of the seeds are being planted to support them.. but it’s not time yet.. but, some time down the line, when it’s safe, REMEMBER this scene between Tywin & Tyrion. I’ll make it make sense. I agree, Lena Heady, as Cersei, is absolute perfection in her role. I’d go so far as to say my favorite performance of the entire show. Great reaction, as always. Now, I have to go wash the stench of formaldehyde off of my person from the anatomy lab.

I LOVE Tywin as a character. He sees himself as a smart person. He is really smart! But because of his own hatred towards his smartest son Tyrion, he deprives himself and the family of one of its greatest assets. He wants people to see him as a strong person with no emotion but his relationship with tyrion show that he is ruled by his emotions/feelings and make bad decisions because of it

Charles Dance as Tywin is epic. He carries such a presence in everything he does.. I definitely see what you are saying.. I’ll also add that in my eyes, Tywin is mainly driven by family legacy & how status, money & power reflect back on that image. That said, I agree, Tyrion is his one, emotional hot button. Tyrion is a stain on that image and also “killed,” the love of his life, the mother of his 3 children…it’s always interesting for me to see how those exact sentiments are seen in how Cersei also feels about Tyrion..yet, in Jamie, it’s the opposite.

This ep has one of the only scenes that Bronn and Cersei had where they were in the same shot. The actors were exes, didn't get on well, and it's rumoured they had 'never on set together' clauses in their contracts

There were actually a few Game of Thrones tribute bands when the show was airing. And they were part of the fandom that went to Game of Thrones conferences. There were several big ones while the show was airing. I’m not sure whether there are any ongoing conferences anymore.

Rob Stark’s story here, where he comes to Harrenhall, has been very shortened from how it is in the books. That is probably one of my bigger complaints about this season. You get much more about him and his people and their political dynamics of what is going on in his army in the book than you do in this season.

Indeed! And since they were wondering about his loyalty to Stannis, I hope they will understand that it stems from the fact that Stannis basically gave Davos everything he has. He had been a smuggler all his life. But after smuggling food into Stannis at Storm’s End, when Stannis was under siege, he made him a knight with land of his own, as well as taking his son into his service. That’s where the loyalty stems from. As well as the fact that Davos believes Stannis to be an honorable man.
