Changes over the last year.

A lot of you who have been day one's have seen the changes we have made in the last year, but for other members of the fem-mily here it is.

Originally this Patreon space was create as an additional space for other reactions from Femmes React that wouldn't fly on YT. It was kind of just dumping ground for those reactions without any engagement. Just like a warehouse of things and stuff would just appear. Something hand to be done, not to make it perfect, but to just give it a little bit more form and rhyme and reason. Plus, we wanted to show some consideration to those who choose freely to support this channel.

One of the first things was a release schedule. With this, you would know when to expect certain reactions to certain shows. It gave it a little more order, and you wouldn't have to always check this space for random drops.

 Also, we really wanted to show some respect for he fact that you are giving extra support, so what I wanted to do is in some way not keep you in the dark about what's going on. So you at least know that there's work going on and something else is coming down the pipeline for you. So I've been doing my Monthly Menus. Honestly, they aren't always on first of the month, but I eventually get them out for you. It's a line of communication about this space, and other parts of the FR universe.

In addition, this year, Edison came up with proper names for the tiers. I forced him to sit down and do it, but we got there, the official names are: Fabulous, Feisty or Femme-ily.

With the naming of the tiers was the changes to the tier benefits. I thought it was important for those who choose to give extra support monthly to be involved in some way, while also involving content for all members of the fem-mily. So we workshopped and came up with the Monthly suggested reactions. An additional monthly reaction outside of the planned reoccurring ones, chosen by Feisty & Femme-ily tiers, and then voted on by them.  And sometimes, what we ended up reacting to won by one vote. And other times, there was a tie, so we ended up reacting to both of the suggestions. So voting makes a difference.

In addition to the regular monthly participation, our schedule was light for January, so we ended up giving it to the whole community, and that's the story of how "Spare Me Your Mercy' got a spot. It's not something that will be a regular thing, but in the future, we might do it again.

So a lot has happened in the last year. And we endeavor to have exciting and new things coming this year. I'm still trying to get Edison to do Fem-mily chosen karaoke.🤣 Some stuff that may work, and some things that might now work, either way, watch this space.

What's happening

 Speaking of which, there's the reaction suggestions and voting from within the 'Feisty' or 'Femme-ily' tiers happening right now. What will they be? I don't know. It's in the 'Feisty' or 'Femme-ily' tiers hands.

We are still doing a reactions on YT. We just did our annual year in GL/BL review. We had more guests than the previous years, and it was a ton of fun. The world of GL/BL grew, so we had to bring out more people to cover it all. As far as ongoing reactions, right now it's Ossan's Love Thailand, featuring Topher.

So that's the Monthly info dump. Made even more because of the New Year. I'm just the type of person who believes that too much information is better than being information blind. If you made it to the end. Good on yah.

P.S. An Easter egg for the past year, for all of the videos I've edited and uploaded, their sub titles have been song lyrics. Sometimes the song directly related to that episode, or it was related to something we have said during the episode, or other times it's just the lyrics of the song that fit. I kind of hoped someone will have figured that out in the last year, and after they watched the reaction, swung over to either YT or Spotify and was grooving. It might have been such a deep cut no one noticed, but yeah, our reactions of 2024 had a secret soundtrack of 2024. It's a very eclectic one.😉 Anyways, Be well all.
