In regard to BTS, I thought it was interesting that they are playing Spring Day in the car. I got a bit confused with the translations until I figured out the translations were referring to the train but the music was BTS. If you watch their music video it features a train and it is all about the metaphors of youth and thinking about what direction you want to go in life. Understanding this, the director and team have me hoping they hold tight to the story and follow through strong to the end. It was shot on an iPhone. I love knowing that detail. I couldn’t figure out what was making some of the shots seem like we the watchers are either sitting with them or we are watching from far away like we are spying. Thanks for doing this show!

This series is representing Generation Z. It represents people of Gen Z as to how they uses internet, uses tik tok, Instagram, Line, and all of those network platforms to hit on someone. Playing challenges on tik tok and all that. Let's say, Gen Y (Millennials) uses tattoos as a trend, right? Gen Z uses Gel Nails as a trend. It gives Y2K vibes. This series is telling us a story of how Gen Z teens flirt with each other, how they hit on a person, and all that. The title in English is named Gelboys, which shows the four boys use gel nails as their characters, their personalities, they use it to represent who they are. But the Thai title is "สถานะกั๊กใจ", which means "Hook-on Relationship", meaning like you like someone but they put you on hold, and then you hook on someone else to get that person's attention. It's looks messy and toxic but if you watch carefully, it may not relate to you but it can relate to other people.
