The couple only plays the main focus in later eps and there's a big focus on the plot, the group, the industry etc so I feel like the show is most interesting to people who are either invested because they're fans of the group lykn or just fascinated by the background of idol groups and the fantasy of idol romance in general. I personally got invested quickly but since you guys said the stakes felt so low to you, I wonder if its a feat of the writing or if for tpop/kpop fans like me we get invested more easily since we can project our own idols onto the situation in the show and thus feel more emotionally involved imagining how we'd feel if this was happening to our favorite groups etc? I experienced it as less dragged on because I had watched the trailers, thus knew there were sweet moments I'd like coming and that kept me excited through it all, and I don't mind a slow burn, but I can definitely understand the pacing being too slow for you. I'm curious if the show would ever speak to you at a certain point or if its just overall not for yall but I guess if I'll find out depends on the polls :D
