Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 This is such a fun movie with a great cast. I do very highly recommend checking out the sequel movie as well. It's just as funny. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today & a great weekend! 😊

Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). This is a fun comedy that you definitely needed after being moved to tears by Rocky Balboa (2006) and stressed out by Twister (1996). I plan on watching the unrated version later on at some point. BTW, perfect color coordination with your red shirt for this movie.

Alex Tan

Addie is watching the theatrical cut that's 1 hour and 34 minutes long.

Another comedy with Will Ferrell in it that I would love to see you watch is Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), after Clerks (1994), Mallrats (1995), Chasing Amy (1997) and Dogma (1999), as you progress into the View Askewniverse. #ViewAskewniverseForAddieCounts

Unfortunately, due to the popularity of this movie when it released, dudes in my high school would randomly break into singing Afternoon Delight. I don't think they thought about what they were singing, and I definitely wasn't one of the dudes singing. Definitely not...

Check out "Talladega Nights" and "Step Brothers" too. Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are hilarious together. And same director as "Anchorman," Adam McKay.

Alex Tan

Addie has seen Step Brothers (2008). But I'm in for Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Rocky Bobby (2006). #TalladegaNightsForAddieCounts

Ahh rats. I guess she saw that pre-Youtube?

The blooper with Burt Reynolds and Sally Field is from Smokey and the Bandit (well worth watching btw).

Alex Tan

Yep. I've seen it appear on her Letterboxd account.

Lol, I love this movie. Especially Brick, Steve Carell steals every scene he's in. 😄 The sequel didn't do as well as this one, I don't remember as many quotable moments from it as the original, but it's ok.

ButtercupsTrueLove

"I'm kind of a big deal." - Finn, in "The Force Awakens", quoting Ron Burgundy.

I dont understand how people can work around Steve Carell, Id just be on the floor laughing to death every 5 min and not be able to do my scenes.
