Happy Monday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Ex Machina (2014). This is one sci-fi movie that I would love to watch soon.

oh hell yes. This movie absolutely rips. If you dig this you really should dive into more of Alex Garland's work. Annihilation goes SO HARD and I think Civil War was an incredible work of tension building cinema.

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. 😊 I've heard so much about this movie, yet I've never seen it. The only thing i know about it is that Oscar Isaac is in it. So, this'll be a first time watch for me as well. Looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

Yeah his musical number goes hard.

Guys, what if Addie has been an android this whole time and it’s us that have been in the middle of an ongoing Turing Test with her??? 😲

Another Great Movie. Thank you Addie. Alicia is great in this film, Yes for her acting and not her nude scenes which I understand she was not supported for on set.

You've been the first person to figure it out!!

Great reaction to one of my favourite movies. Personally I see the ending as armageddon. The beginning of the end of humanity. What disturbed me the most on this watch was that Ava seems to not care at all about her own kind, let alone humans. Empathy was simply a vector for her to use, not something she experiences.

LaserLamb

No WONDER you saw the ending as "hopeful"!!! 😯

It's tough to root for Ava after how she leaves Caleb to probably starve to death at the end. She even gives a subtle quick look in his direction from the elevator as she's leaving that indicates she's totally aware that she's leaving him there but doesn't care in the slightest. Anyway, it's an awesome film, glad I got to rewatch this one! 😄

And Devs! One of the best miniseries I've seen!

Addie, she killed two men. Are we just going to ignore this 🤣 Also please react to DRIVE (2011) 👍

Yeaaaaah I realized while editing that I was manipulated by her just like Caleb was haha

Nathan is not the villain in this movie. He's simply an extremely intelligent person who is aware of the dangers that come with building an AI. Why would he release an AI that has unlimited potential into the world without making sure that its not a threat to mankind. Him creating different versions and keeping them confined makes perfect sense. He was a very flawed person but definitely wasn't the villain. Caleb on the other hand is the villain in my opinion. He got them both killed and even released an AI that has no care for human life.

Adddd... Deee... Opps! Told ya I was lagggg... Ging... I guess my system clock and memory need upgrading! I had forgotten about this one! And I've only just watched the YT edition for the moment. As you and everyone can see from the movie alone, it makes it important for 'us' to not only think about such ramifications, etc. We all must put our 2 cents "in." For me it brings me back to Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 2 Episode 9: "The Measure of a Man." It wasn't that important I started in the 'electronics field' back in the mid 80's but more and more important especially now-a-days with the wide spread of AI.
