Addie if you could appear in any movie which movie would it be?

Alex Tan

Not counting horror, are there any movies that you recognized are well made, but weren't for you, due to how intense they were? Are there any movies that a lot of people hated, but you actually enjoyed? Which upcoming movies, according to Fandango's Top 10 Most Anticipated 2025 Summer Movies list, are you most excited to see this summer? https://images.fandango.com/images/fandangoblog/FAN_TOP10_2025_SummerMovies%20(2)%20copy.jpg Will you react to more Val Kilmer movies? Would you ever consider doing a rewatch reaction to Titanic (1997)? Will you react to Crimson Tide (1995) with Denzel Washington & Enemy of the State (1998) with Will Smith, both also with the late Gene Hackman, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Tony Scott?

KingGoji94

TV show recommendation: breaking bad not only is the show great but the Netflix movie, and spinoff series better call saul is also great. It's a lot to watch lol but its worth it!

Alex Tan

Salsa Shark

Sleepers... it's 4 hours long and brilliant. You should have it ready for the next rainy day.... and why do we wear the same sweaters....?

Troy Sinegal

Hello Addie, hope you're having a good day. If you ever do a TV Series one day, I recommend you watch Smallville. Because if you liked the Christopher Reeve Superman Films, you'll enjoy Smallville.

Milton Reduxed

New to the channel, what questions are off limits?

Scot J

What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Scot J

What is your quest?

Scot J

What is your name?

Doug

Out of curiosity, since I don’t generally know much about the actual business model, I noticed you and some other reaction channels seem to not have had in-video sponsors the last few months or so. Have you found advertisers stepping back from them or is it just that the sponsorships weren’t enough of the revenue stream compared to YouTube views and Patreon, etc, to bother worrying about? Thanks, and hope you’re having a great week so far!

Chris Capitano

Are you gonna watch the Fast and Furious series. And I if you liked “a league of their own” movie. I recommend the “Major League” movies. I think you’ll like em

Randolph Tirazona

Hello @Addie!!! Here’s something a bit different, similar to Rapid Fire Questions. Please give your current reactions, feelings and statements (long or short as you would like) to these titles: “Alien” (1979) “Rocky” (1976) “Jaws” (1975) “The Godfather” (1972) Much thanks to “Team Addie” and yes that includes Ollie!

Cameron Kerby

Not a question but my opinion, I think you should limit questions to one when you have a Q&A. Just a thought. One or two people seem to think it’s a good idea to overwhelm you with a dozen or so questions.

Milton Reduxed

Ah OK, that's all my queries disqualified then...

Scot J

Well, that lets her pick one from the multitude of available ones. I see absolutely no issues with asking multiple questions. I’m sure Addie can decide which ones she answers and which ones she doesn’t. That’s like, my opinion, man…

Doug

Hi Addie, I thought it might be fun to collect some suggestions from commenters and you for a possible Mother’s Day movie next month. To get the ball rolling, here’s a quick list of “films with mothers” (some of whom are better moms than others!) Feel free to use or think about or ignore however you like! 😄 - Mildred Pierce (1945) - Sophie’s Choice (1982) - Terms of Endearment (1983) - The Grifters (1990) - Postcards from the Edge (1990) - The Joy Luck Club (1993) - Delores Claiborne (1995) - Mother (1996) (the Albert Brooks comedy, not to be confused with the similarly titled 2017 Mother! horror movie) - Stepmom (1998) - Erin Brockovich (2000) - Akeelah and the Bee (2006) - Frozen River (2008) - Mother (2009) - The Kids are Alright (2010) - We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) - Room (2015) - Bad Moms (2016) - Tully (2018) - Women Talking (2022) P.S. I left out Rosemary’s Baby, even though it’s one of the better known “movies starring mothers”, since it’s more a Halloween movie. 😉

Андрей Ветошкин

Hi, Addie, have you ever thought about doing reactions on bloopers and gag reels from movies? At least from MCU movies?

Addie Counts

That's how I approach it! I usually pick a couple of their questions. I try to answer as many questions as I can, but I don't answer every question for the Q&A.

Randolph Tirazona

+1 "Terms of Endearment"; "The Joy Luck Club" and "Stepmom" cause Bandit said so!

Doug

And throw in Moneyball, love that one!

Doug

Just chiming in, Addie’s mentioned before being worried about committing too much time to a TV series with a lot of episodes. But yeah, if she ever does want to watch a longer series, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul would be on the short list for me! 👍

Guillaume Huet_rennibou

Hi Addie! You are invited to read a poem at a Dead Poets Society reunion. What author or poem could you choose?

Al Mason

Hi Addie! Can you please tell us a funny story from your life please? Hope you are doing well and having a good one!

Al Mason

Also, my pick for the wheel of movies this month is Being John Malkovich

Doug

Great movie! She’ll have a separate post for the wheel, fyi.

MattTheHazard

What is something about reacting/editing, good or bad, you wish more people knew?

Patrick Anderson

Would you consider another channel to react to music or games?

JSin

You may have addressed this long ago but I see you have watched about all the Star wars shows. Have you seen Andor? it's arguably the best of the Star Wars Shows and Season 2 is about to come out. Would love to see it. :)

MrAustincummings

Suggestions for a poll, Hitchcock movies. You've seen psycho, but how about North by Northwest, vertigo, rear window, to catch a thief, man who knew too much, Rebecca, the birds, torn curtain, foreign correspondent...you could make a pretty good list.

Doug

Strangers on a Train is my favorite. 👍

Aldo Gonzales

Now that you saw James Gunn’s Suicide Squad, would you also be able to react to Peacemaker? The first season is only 8 episodes long, and we’re getting a second season in August. Would you also be interested in checking out an animated series on HBO Max called Creature Commandos? The first season is only seven episodes long, and it serves as a bridge between Peacemaker seasons 1 and 2. Have you ever seen the 1995 movie Friday? This month we’re celebrating its’ 30th anniversary. If you haven’t seen it yet, I recommend the director’s cut.

Doug

If Peacemaker and Creature Commandos get on a TV poll I’d vote for them, they’re great. 👍

drew

have you watched ghostbusters if not you should check out ghostbusters 1984. ghostbusters 2. ghostbusters afterlife and frozen empire

Doug

Just to answer the question she’s seen the original 1984 Ghostbusters according to her Letterboxd list.

Alex Tan

Ghostbusters (1984) was actually one of her prototype reactions. She did watch that movie, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (1982), Beetlejuice (1988), and Edward Scissorhands (1990), but she wasn't satisfied with the editing style and how she was questioning a lot during those movies. I do hope she gets around to doing rewatch reactions to those.

Phil Stubblefield

As inspired by your most recent poll, who are your top 3 comedic actors?

Kawaii Leonard

Game of Thrones was huge when it aired during the 2010's, just wondering if you know any offhand facts/spoilers thru osmosis (ex. conversations with friends).

DazzMetalStorm

Would you like to check out some Will Smith movies, like I'Robot, i am legend, Hancock etc? Perhaps a Will smith poll

DazzMetalStorm

With the new Fantastic 4 movie on the way, Do you plan on reacting to the Fantastic Four sequel and the remake?

DazzMetalStorm

Which Batman is your favourite? Between Christian Bale, Robert Pattinson, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, how would you rank them?

Doug

Don’t forget Val Kilmer and Adam West, she just watched them too recently. 🙂 (Personally of the live action Batmen they all did a good job, but I think I like Pattinson the best since he had an interesting, sad take on the character and didn’t overdo trying to have a gruff voice. Also overlooked, but who I liked as Bruce Wayne, is Iain Glen from the show Titans (who’s better know for playing Jorah in Game of Thrones), he made for a decent older Bruce.)

Alex Tan

...and also the Bad Boys tetralogy, Enemy of the State (1998), and Gemini Man (2019).

Alex Tan

Both 1934 and 1956 versions of The Man Who Knew Too Much.

Alex Tan

She has seen Lady Bird (2017).

Doug

Thanks, I missed that one on her list, I’ll take it off. 👍

Scot J

If you could remove one slang word from the English vocabulary, what would it be? Personally, I can't stand 'bro'.

Thomas Wetherell

Is there anything like a book, video game, historical event or just some random scenario you would really like to see made into a movie or TV show? Even if it’s nothing specific I sometimes find myself going down a rabbit hole wondering what would be cool to adapt to the screen.

Baldemort

Okay Addie, you get 1 million dollars but, you have to trade places with your dog for a full year. Your dog becomes human, and does your reactions for example, but you become a dog, and are treated like a dog. Sounds cute initially but what would you come back to once you revert back to human? Think of Jeremy and your family and your viewers here. Have fun with this question, save it for last maybe. Would you do it?

Eli

Without getting TOO personal, was there a specific reason why you missed so many movies growing up? Was it a religious thing? Strict parents?
