Actually Bachelor Party, but it wasn't on the list

Randee Carreno

Happy Thursday, Addie! 😊 Some great choices for this comedy poll. "Wayne's World" easily got my vote though. With "Police Academy" as my second pick. Have a great day today! 😊

DazzMetalStorm

I vote Meet the Parents. Wedding Crashers is also great

Bill Rudd

Before you watch Meet the Parents, I'd highly recommend checking out Analyze This. Both have Robert DeNiro and the latter is a gangster comedy with Billy Crystal. Its a good way to ease into thinking of DeNiro comedically

SavageDiplomat

Addie if The 40 Year Old Virgin wins please watch the Unrated version it is vastly superior to the Theatrical. So many brilliant and hilarious scenes were cut for the Theatrical.

Alex Tan

Happy Thursday, Addie. Solid comedic choices here, but my votes belong to Wayne's World (1992), Meet the Parents (2000), Zoolander (2001), and The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005).

Steve Adams

Raising Arizona and A Fish Called Wanda are both in my top picks. I wish I could vote for both of them.

Doug

The only one of these that I've seen that I unfortunately don't think held up over the years is Police Academy. I rewatched it a while back and it just wasn't as funny as I had vaguely remembered it being. Beyond that the rest of the films on the list that I've seen are funny so my vote's pretty open, other than not picking Police Academy. 🙂

Baldemort

Addie be sure to watch the unrated verison of 40 year old vergin if it wins. It's widely available for everyone on most platforms. It's the better versions of the movie 👍

Michael Tucker

A fish called Wanda is great It has all the actors from Monty Pylon. Also Kevin Kline won an Oscar for best support actor.

Wayne's World! Wayne's World! Party Time! Excellent!

Adrian Towers

Meet the Parents is very funny, poor Greg

Joe Blankenship

Come on, Wayne's World! Party time! Excellent!

Joe Blankenship

And there's so many of them. I liked them as a kid, but the older I got, the less I liked them.

Michael Tucker

I would have added 21 Jump Street and the Jerk to the list

Jon Anderson

Raising Arizona is a stone classic, and worth it just to see Nic Cage not being the most OTT actor on the screen.

MrAustincummings

Tough list, I think you would enjoy all of these.

Chris

Yea I specifically bought an extra copy of the rated one just for reactions 😂

Kyle

Of course if we get her to watch Wayne's World then she'll be able to get to Wayne's World 2 featuring a certain someone in a small role.

Jeff I.

And she'll get to see an amazing display of Mike Myers' skill in speaking nearly fluent Cantonese.

Milton Reduxed

Although I thought his accent sounded a bit more like Kowloon Bay as opposed to Hong Kong...

Michael Saville

Wedding Crashers is a top 10 most quotable movie but it’s also so slept on, it’s criminal 😭

Jay Perry

Vote Burn After Reading. Everybody Google it.

Sean

I hope Waynes World wins 🤞🏽

Andre Agog

Meanwhile poor old Monty Python and the Meaning Of Life goes and sits sobbing in a corner...

David Lucas

Did I miss the wheel spin for April?

Addie Counts

Nope! Hasn't happened yet this month. I'll make a post coming soon for you to submit your rec!

Doug

Hi Addie, just wanted to throw out some possible suggestions for consideration for future comedy polls. (There’s no shortage of comedies, so I’m sure there are plenty to pick from, I just did a quick scan of ones that popped up toward the top of Flickchart.) The Producers (1968) The Sting (1973) The Muppet Movie (1979) This Is Spinal Tap! (1984) Clerks (1994) Being John Malcovich (1999) Office Space (1999) The Aristocrats (2005) Ted (2012) P.S. I’d have included Young Frankenstein but I know it’s already on the radar and just unfortunately very hard to find on streaming services currently. 🤷‍♂️

Byrd N. Hand

I'll add the Inspector Clouseau/"Pink Panther" series, "Dr. Strangelove," "Silent Movie," "The Kentucky Fried Movie," "National Lampoon's Animal House," "The Jerk," "Stripes," "Tootise," "Top Secret!," "Sixteen Candles" "Weird Science," "Better Off Dead," "What About Bob?," and "Flirting with Disaster." *I"d add "American Graffiti" and "Caddyshack" as well, but I know they're also already on her radar.

Alexis Vorian

Hey guys! I'm new to this Patreon, happy to be here. so i watched the first full length reaction last night, and it almost breaks my monitor. I noticed some weird flicker right where the milliseconds were on the counter, which is HUGE. I guess it has to do with the constant rapid changes. I don't know if this happened to anyone before. Maybe Addie could take the milliseconds out and just leave the seconds? Just a suggestion, thank you people.

MoulinNoir

i'm hoping for A Fish Called Wanda and the follow up Fierce Creatures
