Happy Thursday, Addie. All are great choices by my votes belong to his Universal Pictures movies Cape Fear (1991) and Casino (1995).

Philip Davetas

TAXI DRIVER is a requirement. Not my favorite, but definitely a prerequisite.

Randee Carreno

Happy Thursday, Addie! 😊 All great choices for the Scorsese poll. "Casino" followed by "Shutter Island" are my two picks. Have a great day today! 😊

Doug

Hmm, they’re all good movies but I think I’ll go with Raging Bull, Shutter Island, and Gangs of New York, those would be the ones I’m maybe in the mood to rewatch.

Philip Davetas

I love THE AVIATOR. Most of that is set in my hometown. Especially Long Beach where he flew the Spruce Goose.

What about Hugo (2011)?

Kawaii Leonard

There's really only one logical vote here, the one with the great Daniel Day-Lewis in it.

My pick of this group is CAPE FEAR which is such an underrated psychological thriller with a rather terrifying Robert De Niro performance. Such a well-deserved Best Actor Oscar nomination for him although had the bad luck of competing against Anthony Hopkins in THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. Also, SILENCE, KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON and THE IRISHMAN are great too.

Luis Fernandez

I'd suggest you take two winners... one from his earlier work (2 candidates from 70s/80s) and the other from his later work.

Daniel Day-Lewis' performance in Gangs of New York is simply amazing. Unfortunately, everything else about the movie is not great. The music composition is pretty terrible, and the story itself is not very compelling.

Steve Adams

I would like to put in a write in vote for my favorite Martin Scorsese movie - After Hours (1985)

I'm voting shutter island. Every movie on here is great. I think shutter island would be the best reaction. Taxi Driver is currently winning, but hopefully the voters realize that though it is a great film, it's not great for reactions.

DarthChef

Academy Award winner for best actor: Robert De Niro. Regarded as THE best film of the 80's, and one of the best films in history: Raging Bull.

Guys she's not going to like Taxi Driver. As good as it is, that's not really an Addie Movie.

Kevin Cleary

I mean, I guess you gotta see it once, but I am surprised Taxi Driver won the poll, lol. Not sure Addie is going to like that one. Voted Shutter Island right away. I think everyone knows without even seeing it that her reaction to that will be best, easily.
