I've been waiting for this one!

I love the humour in this movie. I‘m looking forward to watching this with you later, Addie. There are two spin-off TV shows (soon to be three) which are also well worth watching: 1. Wellington Paranormal (2018–2022) is a TV series following the two police officers seen in What We Do in the Shadows, as they investigate the paranormal. 2. What We Do in the Shadows (TV Series 2019–2024), which follows another group of Vampires. 3. We're Wolves is currently in development.

Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed What We Do in the Shadows (2014). So far, this is your FOURTH Taika Waititi movie. He directed Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Thor: Love & Thunder (2022) and Jojo Rabbit (2019).

Glad to see you liked this Addie, I had a feeling you would. You'll probably love how the character Stu is actually just based on the guy who played him - Stu Rutherford. He was a flatmate of Taika Waititi and helped him on a few of his early projects - with IT. When they made this movie, they basically just had him play himself.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 This is a fun surprise. I've only seen bits and pieces of this movie. So, for the most part it's a first time watch for me as well. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today & a great weekend! 😊

Aaaaaahhhhh!! GHOST CUP! There's a heartfelt charm in this film, and it is hilarious because of it.

This movie is awesome. The show is really fun as well!

I also heard recently that there was a TV show based off Young Frankenstein in the works, and some of the writers and show runners from WWDITS were working on it.

R.I.P. Lee Pitman (2001-2025)

There is a TV show called Very Young Frankenstein in the early stages of production. It allegedly stars Cary Elwes and Zach Galifianakis. Character details haven’t been released, but sources say that Galifianakis will play Dr Frankenstein and Elwes will play the President of the United States. Mel Brooks and Taika Waititi are said to be executive producers.

Is it weird that this movie makes me crave french fries?

My favorite part is Jackie, who was Deacon's familiar, and how she spoke so earnestly about her wish to become a vampire. Unfortunately for her, I think Deacon was just stringin' her along so she would do the yard work and bloody cleanup in the house. I'm surprised that Deacon didn't have Jackie do the sinkful of dishes. Nick went ahead and spoiled that party, much to Jackie's benefit. I've always wanted to visit New Zealand and now I've gotten to see Wellington from the locals' point of view - at night under a full moon, even!

Chris

The "Wellington Paranormal" spinoff series is definitely worth watching, even if it's not on the channel

Billy Dancel

The best part is that Stu's real name is Stu(art)! "We're Werewolves NOT swearwolves" ..... the line of the movie

If you enjoyed the movie you'll definitely enjoy the show. I'd also recommend you check out Flight of the Conchords as well about a band from New Zealand, it also has Jermaine Clement(Vlad) & Rhys Darby(The Alpha Werewolf). You would enjoy the songs they do

Joe Blankenship

I hope Addie does "Little Shop of Horrors" this year. I predict she'll love it.
