It’s almost time for this month’s Q&A! Ask a question, any question! I try to answer as many questions as I can, but please note that I may not answer every question.

Frequently Asked Questions:

“Have you watched _____?”

Check out my Letterboxd account below to see the full list of every movie I’ve watched! This includes movies I watched on the channel and movies I’ve watched in my own time. If you recommend a movie in the comments on this post, I’ll take note of it, but I may not address it in the Q&A.

“Do you have a P.O. Box?”

I do not!

“Do you play video games?”

I don’t play video games often, but I enjoy cozy games like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. :)

“Have you considered starting a gaming channel or a channel specifically for shows?”

Not at this time! I edit my videos, so I don’t have any extra time for a second channel.

Where does Crimson Tide (1995) rank with all of the other Jerry Bruckheimer movies that you've watched for the channel? So far, you've previously seen the Top Gun & National Treasure movies, Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2, The Rock (1996), Armageddon (1998), Remember the Titans (2000), Black Hawk Down (2001), and the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.

Hi Addie, do you have 2012's 'John Carter' on your radar? Its a brilliant Disney film, epic science-fantasy.

Kyle Brandon Sanger

Addie, would you mind watching 'Conan the Destroyer'? Its the sequel to 'Conan the Barbarian'. I love Robert E. Howard's character and world. Thanks.

How much would it take to get you to hold a snake in your hands for 1 minute? 5 minutes? Non-venomous of course. Would you hold a snake in your hands for 5 minutes if it guaranteed world peace?

Hello Addie. Since it's October, do have any fond memories of Halloween from any point as a child, teenager, or young adult?

Here's a question that derives from The Purge franchise: What would you do if one night a year in America, ANY and ALL crime was legal for 12 continuous hours?

Hi Addie, What We Do in the Shadows made me realize an informal Mockumentary poll might be fun. 🙂 Here are some suggestions: - The Ruttles: All You Need is Cash (1978) - Real Life (1979) - Zelig (1983) - This is Spinal Tap (1984) - Man Bites Dog (1992) - Waiting for Guffman (1996) - Best in Show (2000) - A Mighty Wind (2003) - Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006) - Borat (2006) - Popstar: Never Stop Stopping (2016) - Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (2021) P.S. Chris Guest’s signature is mockumentaries so he’s on the list above a few times, but the genre has been around much longer than that! Also I almost included The Aristocrats (2005) which is hilarious but in hindsight is actually a documentary, not a mockumentary. Very funny film though!

On a Taika Waititi tangent, I liked Next Goal Wins too, I thought it was cute. 🙂 It’s only 46% on Rotten Tomatoes though so I guess it’s hit or miss for people. Also don’t forget Goodfellas for Scorcese!

Outsida the shining what would you say is the horror movie that traumatized you the most, either from your childhood or from something you watched for the channel

Hello, Addie. On Instagram, I was followed by an account with your name but it's called addie_counts2, your avatar, and your bio, but it was completely empty and deleted a couple of days later. Actually, I want to recommend you watch the trilogy directed by M. Night Shyamalan with Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and James McAvoy: "Unbreakable" 2000, "Split" 2016 and "Glass" 2019.

What have been your favorite Halloween costume so far and who would like to cosplay as in the future? You may answer as many as you want for both. Have you rewatched Kpop Demon Hunters off-camera but with on-screen sing-along lyrics? And did you hear that they’re making a short film? While we’re waiting for Beyond the Spider-Verse, did you hear about an upcoming Sony Animation movie called GOAT? It’s about a small-stature teenage goat who aims to become the next basketball star. The lead goat is voiced by Caleb McLaughlin who we know best as Lucas Sinclair. His co-star David Harbour will be lending his voice in the movie, too. Speaking of Stranger Things, are you gonna be checking out the final season with us on the channel? Part 1 premieres next month with four episodes.

Since it's October, if you had to choose, would you rather watch a movie with a few excellent jump scares or one that didn't have any but was high anxiety the entire time?

Baldemort

Addie, if you were in a horror movie. Which horror movie trope would you be? -The person who dies by the killer first. -The person who trips, falls, and then dies by the killer as you are running away. -The person who gets lost, and then dies by the killer -The person who chooses not to listen, then dies by the killer - The person who survives all the way to the end, but then dies by the killer anyway right as the movies ends. - The person who is the masked killer discovered to have been the one who betrayed all your friends right as the movie ends.

Hi Addie! Important question, what’s your favorite candy? And does your Halloween sweet tooth have a different opinion, or is it loyal all year long? 🍬🎃

Have you had any negative experiences with directors (and whomever else may be in charge) that you can share? I had a director who petted me on the head like a dog when I asked a question...

Oh no! With the spooky season comes the rise of Bad Addie, or... BAddie! You are the villain in a horror movie. Would you focus your evil on one person / a small group, or would your goal be to terrorize all of humanity?

Hi Addie, hope you’re doing well! I am in England until January to produce and direct a play I’ve written. Having never been to England (or left the North American continent even) previously, I am finding out all sorts of interesting things, and one thing I am quickly discovering about England is that they have some food combinations which make pineapple on pizza seem pretty tame by comparison. Among the dishes I have seen so far is the Chicken Big Mac at McDonald’s, a fried egg, broccoli, and black olives pizza at a pizza place I went to, and a steak covered in Mac and cheese. All that being a verbose way to say, if you have to choose between those three things, are you going with the: Big Mac with chicken patties instead of beef patties …or… The fried egg, broccoli, and black olives pizza, …or… The steak covered in Mac and cheese?

Andrew Storing

Can you put these movies on your watchlist/future polls? -Real Steel (stars Hugh Jackman) -Coneheads (stars Dan Aykroyd) -Tommy Boy (stars Chris Farley & David Spade) -Regarding Henry (stars Harrison Ford) -Turner & Hooch (stars Tom Hanks) -Look Who’s Talking (stars John Travolta & Kirstie Alley) -One Fine Day (stars George Clooney & Michelle Pfeiffer) -Bicentennial Man & Mrs. Doubtfire (stars Robin Williams) -Overboard (1987)(stars Kurt Russell & Goldie Hawn) -Just Go With It (stars Adam Sandler & Jennifer Aniston) -Fly Away Home (stars Jeff Daniels & Anna Paquin) -The Night at the Museum Trilogy & The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (stars Ben Stiller)

I know you reserve horror movies for the month of October because you’re not a super fan of the genre. However, would you consider something like a horror/comedy movie beyond that (like Novembre, the month of the dead)? Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz (two movies you have watched and seem to have liked) fit into this genre.
