Help me choose a sports movie to watch next! Clearly there are a TON of sports movies I still need to watch (and a lot of them didn't even make it on the poll because there are too many options on this poll already). There are A LOT of movies to choose from on this poll, so happy voting!

Unfortunately I don't think Million Dollar Baby is going to win, but it's undoubtedly the best movie on the list and it's not even close. And I love a lot of those.

Chris

Miracle is such a great movie and not even just because of the sports aspect

Alex Tan

Happy Thursday, Addie. All are good choices here but as a fan of producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Days of Thunder (1990) & F1: The Movie (2025) easily get my votes.

firegrilled

So many good movies! Glad I don’t have to pick just 1. LOL.

Troy Sinegal

If you've loved Mr. Miyagi in the first Karate Kid, you'll love him in the second. More backstop on his character

The Dude Abides

Gotta go with Miracle. Also Rudy is like 90% fake. It’s pretty much the go-to example of when the phrase “Based on a true story” is almost a lie in itself. If anything it was inspired by a true story.

Philip Davetas

I keep rooting for THE NATURAL, but it never wins.

arne lind

I wish I could say something classy and inspirational, but that just wouldn't be our style.

arne lind

The replacements is in my permanent top 5. Love that flick, and I'm pretty sure Addie would have fun too.

Steven Fordham

I'm not sure how much of a 'sports' movie Caddyshack really is - but if you haven't seen it, you need to.

Welshgirl999

Please react to rush 🙏 It's a 2013 F1 movie about 2 famous drivers competing for the championship and their storys of getting into F1, it is so good!! the new F1 movie is trash 🗑and thats a popular opinion in the F1 community.

Doug

Jerry Macguire, Million Dollar Baby, and Bull Durham are my favorites on this one. 🙂

Cole Trahan

I was named after the Main Character for Days of Thunder!

Andrew Storing

I think you should watch The Karate Kid 2 even if it doesn’t win, since you’ve been ask to lots of times.

Aldo Gonzales

It’s a tight race, but Karate Kid Part 2 has to win no question.

HaikenEdge

The Replacements is an underrated gem.

Andrew Storing

Right! It’d be nice if she’d watch it even if it doesn’t win a poll

Alex Leach

By far the best sports film I have seen in recent years is Invictus, starring Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman, but I’m not sure it will ever win a Patreon poll as it features a non-US sport (rugby).

Pendragon1951

I guess I must be old school because when I hear sports movie, I never think of the funny ones like Caddyshack, to me I think of Knute Rockne All-American, or Jim Thorpe, Pride of the Yankees etc but that's just me.

Randee Carreno

Happy Thursday, Addie! 😊 Four of my favorite sports movies made it onto this poll. LOL! As much as I would LOVE for "Miracle" to win, I feel that one might be better in a couple of of months(in February), closer to the Winter Olympics. Just my thoughts. I ended up voting for "The Karate Kid Part 2" with "Caddyshack" as my second choice. Have a great day today! 😊

Andrew Storing

Maybe you could do a second sports poll as well.

Jonah D Jackson

If it never wins, you should watch Miracle on your own time, particularly if you don't already know the story. I guarantee you'll enjoy it.

Kyle Brandon Sanger

I chose 'F1', best film of the year for me. 'The Natural' is phenomenal, the best film about baseball in my opinion.

CloudSSj4

Although not your typical Sport film, but Victory (1981) is brilliant!

Luis Fernandez

Voted for Rudy because I love that movie, and voted for Jerry Maguire because I think Addie would love that movie.

Joe Blankenship

Rudy.... Rudy..... RUDY RUDY RUDY!!! Caddyshack's okay, not one of my favs.

Abraham Blea

Does Addie have a section where she takes suggestions?

Jorge Lopez

Will never understand the love for Caddyshack. My respects to those who enjoy it, but it's very overrated, IMO. It's also more of a comedy than a sports movie, and I just think there are already too many reactions on Patreon and the YouTubiverse for it. So many other quality films to choose from that actually have a compelling story, acting, directing, and that are more sports-centric. Let's give another sports movie a shot for a change! Sports movie polls don't occur often enough for Caddyshack to be the winner in this specific poll.

MrAustincummings

Welp, here we go again... I wanna suggest you just watch what you want when I comes to sports movies. I don't know if it's the voters or what, but the last couple of polls this group seems to be synced and generally choose the top 3 movies in the list...then we do sports polls and it's like the group is trying to intentionally watch the worst picks. Not worst by just my opinion, but a mass majority of film fans agree. So, please just watch whatever you want when it comes to sports movies. The polls just divide and anger.

Harry S

Once a month she takes questions, you can add suggestions there.

Alexander George

Hey Addie... you are going to have a fun time with Caddyshack!

Alex Leach

I agree - Rodney Dangerfield is funny but it’s easier just to watch clips of his act on YouTube. Caddyshack is otherwise mediocre and is in no way a sports film.
