Seeing those Yavin temples again was a highlight of the entire show. We’re getting closer and closer to Rogue One

Some people really don’t like the scenes on Yavin with the Maya Pei Brigade, but even as frustrating as it can be watching that group bickering over everything and trying to kill each other, those scenes serve a purpose. They show just how disorganized and dysfunctional the Rebellion is at this point, a few years out from the Battle of Yavin. Syril and Dedra together. Where else but in the Empire’s system does the stalker get the girl?

Just one of the greatest seasons (of one of the greatest shows) in television...no biggie. %$&# yes!!!

Omg Addie, I had to pause after that Ted Lasso reference lol 😂

Yeah, I think pretty much everyone was ready to be done with that crew of idiots, that the whole set up was just to show that the people were on Yavin.

And that the Rebellion is currently a mess with separate factions ready to turn on each other in a second.

Like the fellow Dude below me said, yeah, I think everyone was done with the Maya Pei Brigade by the end of this episode. The first time I watched it I was like, "See ya later, idiots!" A grim reminder that just because someone is a fellow Rebel, doesn't necessarily mean they are smart or trustworthy. The good news is, I think this storyline is pretty much the only "less than good" part of all Andor season 2. From here on out, it's pretty much all incredible stuff. Straight banger episodes until the end. Also wanted to share a random fun fact about this episode. You know the whole subplot with the wild animal? Well, one of the Andor writers was on a podcast I just listened to, and he told this story. Apparently he was at home trying to write the end of this episode, and he couldn't figure out how Cassian was going to escape. While he was struggling to figure it out, his 9 year old daughter asked him what he was doing, and he explained it to her. She then pulled up a Star Wars wikipedia page on Yavin 4 and read the whole entry. It turns out that in Star Wars lore, some 4,000 years before the events of Andor, there were two Sith lords waging war against each other on Yavin. One of them was conducting genetic experiments on the Yavin wildlife and creating fighting animals to use in his army. The Sith were later forced out by the Jedi, but the genetic experiments they created remained and became part of the moon's wildlife. When his daughter read this in the wiki page, she suggested that one of the wild animals should show up and eat everybody. The writer liked this idea so much that he pitched it to the other writers, and it actually ended up in the script. So, that whole scene exists because of the suggestion of the writer's 9 year old daughter :)

Lol, as soon as he said "He's here, he's there, he's everywhere" I knew anybody who watched Ted Lasso was thinking the exact same thing. 😄

Yep, revolution(even the very few successful ones) are messy and take time. This show really portrays the sacrifice and how hard it is on the path to success.
