Here's the full length reaction to Andor 2x3 ("Harvest"). I imagine SO MUCH is going to happen over the next nine episodes, and I can't wait to see what happens next! Enjoy!

SPOILER WARNING FOR THIS EPISODE:

While editing I realized I misinterpreted the scene where Brasso is accusing Kellen of betraying them. He was putting on a show to cover for him! Ughhh that makes me even sadder over what happened next :(

2026-09-06 15:00 The scene with Dedra and Cyril‘s mom is hilarious, and I love Cyril’s reaction of just giving up and laying face down on the bed 😆

Glad you realised what Brasso meant in the edit; so many viewers (and reactors) didn't get that. The ruse was over and Brasso did what he could to try to make Kellen and the others look like they had nothing to do with it/were helping the empire, in an effort to spare them punishment.

I’ve read somewhere that the actor who plays Syril improvised that (I apologize for forgetting the actor’s name). I agree how it perfectly shows how beaten down Syril has become over the years by his mother’s assaults on his character.

Another great episode. I was a little shocked at the attempted rape scene the first time. Not shocked that Imperial soldiers would use rape as a weapon. Of course they would. I was shocked that Disney didn’t try to censor it. Mon Mothma had her idealism shattered in this episode. She now has to stare the necessity of killing for the Rebellion in the face. She doesn’t want to though, so she gets drunk and dances.

So, I posted my previous comment before watching your reaction. My bad. You asked why Mon Mothma’s daughter’s braids were shorter. They’re called “maiden braids”. One braid gets cut when a girl is engaged and the other is cut when she becomes a bride. I believe there was a culture on Earth that had that tradition (or perhaps several), but I can’t remember which culture it was or when it was practiced. I just know I have heard the term “maiden braids” before I watched this show. Maybe it came from a book I read. Sorry for being so forgetful.

Almost forgot to mention Brasso dying really sucked, he was my favorite new character from this show

The Dude Abides

Brasso was such a great character, pure heart of gold 💛, wish he hadn’t died, especially like that

So much happened! Poor Brasso and Bix! And those disorganized rebels 😠 Definitely not my favorite storyline. But the space Roshambo was hilarious! 😂 Not sure if you noticed Addie, But the location where Andor was captured was Yavin 4. The future site of the Rebel base in the original trilogy (you can see the Mayan style pyramids as Andor was flying away) And Mon’s performance was excellent! The emotions swirling around in her head must have been intense. Wanting to scream or curl up in a ball and cry. But having to keep up the act of Senator and mother of the bride. Wanting to rage. But had to settle for the next best thing. Rage Dance! And don’t even get me started on Dedra 😄 I know we’re supposed to hate her. But how she handled Cyril’s mom made me smile

One of the funniest cuts I've ever seen hahaha idk how many times I've watched this ep now but still cracks me up

So, there's definitely a dominatrix thing going on with Dedra and Syril, right?

The Dingo

Thats how I felt about Vanessa and Wilson in Daredevil, and there might be here too but its more subtle if so

Joe Blankenship

I don't know. Didn't seem that subtle to me. Dedra put his mama in her place because he belongs to her now.
