I'm being brave and watching another horror movie today! Here's the full length reaction to 28 Weeks Later. This one felt more action heavy than the first one, but I think the first one has been my favorite of the two! I feel like the first one did a better job of making the audience care for the main characters (and maybe it was harder for me to connect with these characters because they made so many DUMB DECISIONS lol). I enjoyed seeing Jeremy Renner, Rose Byrne, and Idris Elba in this one! Enjoy!

What in the world is going on?! Addie is becoming the horror reaction queen! 😉 I’m don’t think I’ve seen this one. The cast sounds pretty good though Not particularly into horror films, but I might have to take a look. Probably depends if it’s streaming for free somewhere 😄

When I first saw this I was pleasantly surprised, missing the gritty british flare of the first but I have to say, the opening of this film may just be one of my favourite openings to a film ever. Being from the UK it is pretty cool seeing our quaint countryside get overran with mental "zombies". After that it gets a bit too hollywoody for my liking but it's still a decent movie.

If u check tubi and Pluto tv. They may have wat ur looking for. U don't have to subscribe, just hit Limit Features and look for it. They may have something else u like too. Im a movie fanatic so u can also check youtube, although they're very limited as to wats free. It's worth a check

I mean that is the classic trope of horror movies, characters making dumb decisions, but yea this is defintely the weaker sequel even with a great cast.

Thanks to Addie for her reaction. Not a fan of this screenplay, nor of this director's excessive Paul Greengrass-style of 'shaky cam'. The actors didn't have much to work with. One of many things that didn't make sense - Don (lyin', cowardly, tongue-loving husband) had unrestricted access to the entire facility, even when it was under U.S./NATO military control. He must've BS'ed his way into that job, too. I *have* seen "28 Years Later" but not the one after that just yet. Without giving away spoilers, IMO what follows is an improvement over "28 Weeks Later".

"Tis but a scratch" --- Nice! If the choice is between "28 Years" and "no horror", then my vote is for 28 Years. But if you are open to horror options, there are so many others that are much better. The remaining two aren't bad, they are just ok.

"JEREMY RENNER, THAT WAS NOT FUN!!" wait for it.... "Yeah you've got to be careful, he's got a gun on him..." (JUMPSCARE!!!!!) please don't be mad at me for waiting for this scene!! lol

This felt like a first time watch for me. I didn't remember any of it. And it explains why I never bothered to rewatch it til now. It's kinda not very good. So much of it makes no sense at all. Why would you even want to go into the city, knowing it's littered with corpses? And the guy's first thought was to kiss his wife that he thought for sure was infected?? I'm honestly surprised they made a 3rd one.
