That wheel knows this was the month of the Oscar movies 😄... Looking forward to the Hamnet reaction.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.... I like the Q&As but... Where is One Piece?? One Piece was supposed to be here. We NEED the season finale of One Piece!! Does this mean we'll get a Saturday patreon post with One Piece?? I'm just teasing, have a good weekend ADD-E!

Franco V.

In respect to the new Spiderman movie, it would probably be helpful to watch Daredevil Season 2 because it's the introduction of one important character that will appear in the movie, but you don't need to watch every Marvel/Netflix show.

Adrian Duenas

Yes! Can’t wait for Hamnet. Yes, have those tissues ready lol

JL_83

always a pleasure 😊

Joe Blankenship

Daredevil Born Again would probably be helpful too.

Doug

I'm down for watching Hamnet, I've only heard good things about it. 👍

The Dude Abides

DAMNIT!!! I WILL win the spinning wheel one of these days, more people need to watch SLC Punk!

You can watch DD S2 standalone without anything else. Jessica Jones is great (and you should watch it at some point) but it isn't necessary for DD S2. I believe you may even be able to watch JJ S1 standalone. The shows start intertwining after that, as you to deeper into the larger Defenders saga, so that's when order starts mattering. The Punisher show is great (and you should watch it) but DD S2 gives a great intro to the character, and I'd bet it'd be sufficient for Spiderman.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 Thanks for another great monthly Q&A. And I'm looking for to watching "Hamnet" for the new 'spinning wheel' movie. I hope that you have a great day today & a great weekend. 😊

Thanks for answering my question! I almost didn't watch Game of Thrones because the 2nd episode's ending was really hard for me to watch, and I was worried the show would just be more of that. Thankfully, it wasn't. Have a great weekend!

Also, just finished the Q&A. If you haven't already, you should check out Gone in 60 Seconds (another Jerry Bruckheimer/Nicolas Cage film with fast-moving cars) or Pearl Harbor (another Bruckheimer/Ben Affleck film)! I enjoyed them, and I feel like I have similar reactions/feelings to you as a movie watcher, so I think you would enjoy them too.

Also, if Addie listened to music while reacting to a movie, some jerk lawyer would cause a copyright strike

(coming in a day later) Thank you so much for answering my questions. Here are my thoughts on certain things: 1. Congratulations @axr714! 👏👏🎉🎉 Your suggestion for Hamnet (2025) has just won the spinning wheel. 2. Twisters (2024) was just ONE SPACE away from winning. Maybe next month. 3. The Odyssey (2026) & Disclosure Day (2026, unlisted) are my most anticipated movies of the summer according to that Fandango list. 4. I'm now willing to get invested in an animated film adaptation of Epic: The Musical, since it's being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. 5. Imagine being fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese. 6. I feel like I would survive a disaster movie. If I was in one, it would be myself, my girlfriend, and my work friend. But we would have to work hard and work together to survive.

Alex Tan

I second both Gone in 60 Seconds (2000) & Pearl Harbor (2001), Emily. Jerry Bruckheimer is my all-time favorite movie producer. I do hope that Addie does a Bruckheimer movie poll soon. I'm also gonna add Days of Thunder (1990), Con Air (1997), Enemy of the State (1998), and Deja Vu (2006) as well. #MoreJerryBruckheimerForAddieCounts

EmAtinyDragon

I haven't watched the ones you mentioned Alex, but I'll check them out. I feel like I would like Days of Thunder because of the fast-moving cars. 😅 I'm relatively new to the Patreon, but if there is a war movie poll or Jerry Bruckheimer poll, Pearl Harbor could get added to either.

searched your letterboxd, have you really never seen, "Shakespeare in Love"? Highly recommended. Tom Stoppard is one of the screenwriters. Absolute fav Gwyneth Paltrow role, of all time maybe. If you've ever enjoyed theater and Shakespeare, you'll enjoy yourself. There's love and even a bit about a dog.

Alex Tan

I hope it does.

Jessica Jones sucks and there's no reason whatsoever to watch it. I don't care much for Daredevil either, but I would love to see her reaction to the Punisher
